Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received a free family pass in exchange for this post.
School is out and summer is here! Kids all over the country have been jumping for joy (or will be soon) when that final bell rang, and they're excited about sleeping in, swimming all day, going to the beach, or whatever else their summers have in store for them. I imagine that for some, that excitement will wear off in a couple of weeks, or there will be those rainy days when everyone is stuck in the house all day, and the kids will be climbing the walls out of sheer boredom. What to do?
How about bowling? Or better yet, how about FREE bowling?
That's right! Kids can bowl for free all summer long with Kids Bowl Free!
Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in the first ever Kids Bowl Free program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer.
Children whose age does not exceed a limit by a participating bowling center are eligible to register for 2 free games a day, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations.
We decided to save some money this summer and take Rylie and Bryce out of daycare. They'll be spending their days with my mom until Rylie starts kindergarten in the fall, and I'm looking for inexpensive and free activities that will keep them moving and away from the TV. When I heard that they could bowl for free every day, I knew I would be signing them up! Rylie and Bryce have been to two bowling birthday parties in the last few months, and they both had a great time rolling those balls down the lanes and watching the pins fall.
It is so easy to sign up for this program! All you have to do is visit KidsBowlFree.com and select your state to get started. You then select the bowling alley closest to you, enter your information and the names of your children (up to six), and your weekly coupons will be delivered to your inbox. You will receive two coupons per day, per child, for the next week, absolutely free! Shoe rental is additional, depending on the policies of your particular bowling alley.
If you want to bowl with your children (I do!), you can purchase a family pass for only $24.95. This will allow up to four adults to bowl along with the kids for two games, every day. Yes, every day, even on the weekends! So if you are like me and work during the week, you can still have quality family time together on the weekends.
This is such a great program, and we will definitely be using it this summer! The kids will have a lot of fun, and we won't have to shell out a ton of money for that fun. Pretty awesome, right?
If you're looking for a FREE activity to keep your kids moving this summer, make sure you sign them up now! While you're there, go ahead and get your family pass for $24.95 so you can get moving yourself. Each bowling center only has a certain amount of family passes, and when they're gone, they're gone. You don't want to be sitting there just watching the fun, do you?
And don't let those ugly bowling shoes stop you...as you know, kids look cute in anything!
What are you doing to keep your kids entertained this summer? Have you signed up for Kids Bowl Free yet?
