One of my friends gave me a Taggies book, which I had never heard of. It had lots of soft, shiny tags around it, and I quickly learned that Haley liked to play with all the tags on her stuffed animals. I can't believe I actually cut a few off before she got here...who knew? Our first Taggies product that we received as a gift at my shower was a Sweet Dreams book.
Haley liked to look at it, and put those tags in her mouth. Thank goodness it was easily washable because it was washed often!
Kennedy came along, and she seems to have more of an attention span that Haley did. Toys interest her more, and I don't have to switch them out as often as I did with Haley. Kennedy really liked the Taggies books, and would play with them for a long time. I am not sure if they have a lot more product now with Taggies on them, or if I just didn't notice with Haley, but when I saw how much Kennedy liked them, I went and bought her a soft mirror to look at during tummy time that had soft Taggies all around it. She recently received a Taggies owl blanket, and I often see her in her crib after her naps playing with the tags. She loves the soft satin side as well, and usually that is close to her while she is sleeping.
When I was asked if I wanted to review a Taggies Tag n' Play Pal, I knew how much Kennedy would love it based on how much she loved the other Taggies products we already owned. Available in a pink elephant or a tan puppy, we received the cute pink elephant to review.
When I gave it to Kennedy, it was love at first site!
I love how soft these animals are! They are so snuggly. They also have a light rattle inside, so they make a sound when they are shaken, which Kennedy loves to do. The elephant also has slightly heavier feet so that it can stand upright. This is in her crib every night along with the owl blanket! Her sister has also taken the elephant to bed a few times when she managed to talk me into letting her take it.
These Taggies products were invented by a mom, so you know they take the time to make sure that these are quality products that will stand up to lots of loving by kids (and the washing machine!) All of our Taggies products still look like new!
At Christmas time, we were sent a Christmas themed Taggies book that had a little jingle bell attached to it that they both loved. Haley is currently keeping this in her room for her "baby brother". Um, maybe she knows something I don't?! LOL
I know these will be in our house for awhile, and I also know I will be gifting these to other new moms so that they too, are in "the know" about how awesome they are!
The Taggies products can be purchased at a number of retailers, and the Taggies Tag n' Play Pals can be found at Target for $12.99. (At the time of this review, Target.com had the puppy listed for $11.69.)
Which of the Taggies products is your favorite?
