Do you have a kid who touches everything? I sure do! My little "princess" isn't afraid to touch bugs, snakes, and equally icky stuff, nor is she afraid to get shoulder deep into a pumpkin and scoop out all of the guts. Add that to the "craft projects" where more paint gets on her hands than it does the paper, and her days of digging in the dirt, and Rylie can be one messy kid.
Bryce, on the other hand, is a little more particular with the messes he makes. While he won't touch non-furry creatures, or even silly putty, for that matter, he seems to always get his hands sticky. My kids have both recently been obsessed with tangerines lately, and after Bryce puts a couple of those away, his hands are so sticky that even he doesn't want to touch them.
My kids are the main reason that I love the LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap System. This hands-free soap dispenser helps to eliminate the millions of germs that both big and little hands come into contact with every day. It also makes hand washing easy and fun for kids of all ages.
With the No-Touch Hand Soap System, there are no pumps to fumble with. Some of those soap pumps can be hard to push down, and I can't tell you how many times my kids have pushed down at the wrong angle, only to send the pump flipping off across the counter. That just spreads more germs around! They also transfer their germs/dirt/stickiness on to those pumps, and after a while, the pumps themselves become pretty disgusting.
With the LYSOL system, all you do is place your hand underneath it, and it dispenses just the right amount of soap needed to wash your hands.
We have been using the LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap System for a couple of years now, and my kids actually think it is fun to wash their hands. They love sticking their hand under the dispenser and waiting for the soap to hit their hands.
We have had the No-Touch Hand Soap Systems in two of our four bathrooms since then, and now, thanks to LYSOL, we have them in all of our bathrooms. Goodbye sticky, germy pumps! Even though Bryce's bathroom is upstairs, he prefers to use the downstairs bathroom because of the soap dispenser. He will be happy when he gets back from spring break with my mom to find out that now his monkey bathroom has one too!
If you also have a kid who touches everything, Lysol is running a great contest right now that your messy child will be perfect for!
To celebrate our kids who touch everything, LYSOL recently launched the Kid Who Touches Everything Contest*. From now until May 25, 2013, moms are invited to submit photos of their child's messiest moments at Lysol.com for a chance to win a trip to Disney! There are several categories to enter your photo in (Future Artist, Food Fanatic, Mud Madness, Young Explorer and Critter Kid), and each week, a category winner will be randomly selected to have his or her photo featured on Lysol.com and Lysol's Facebook Page.
*No purchase necessary. Contest runs from 2/25/13- 5/25/13. Open to US residents ages 18+. Void where prohibited. Click here for official contest rules.
What types of yuckiness does your child like to touch?
