Every time we go to the mall and Haley sees the Build-A-Bear Workshop, she wants to go in. My husband's sister came to visit last year and they took her there to build her own monkey, and she has been a fan ever since! The window displays I imagine would draw any child in, and she is no different. She always wants to go in, make a bear, or look at the many different outfit options they have. Her Aunt Liz bought her monkey a cute Hello Kitty shirt, complete with a denim skirt, and shiny pink sandals. Haley, since last year, continually puts those shiny pink sandals on her own feet, even though they look ridiculous, and walks around.
I love that at Easter, Build-A-Bear Workshop releases their Easter animals, and they are always so cute! This year is no exception. They have the Chirpy Chick and Flower Fun Bunny.
They are too cute! And because they are from Build-A-Bear Workshop, I knew they would be quality and super soft. I had a hard time deciding between the two, and I went back and forth over which one the girls would like. I knew they would love them both. We actually have another bunny that my mom bought for Haley in the hospital when she was born that has pink flowers all on it, so I finally decided on Chirpy Chick. Since Haley has several bunnies, I decided this was going to be Kennedy's.
Build-A-Bear Workshop is giving away a free Easter egg decorating kit with a purchase of $20 or more, so we received that along with Chirpy.
As soon as Kennedy saw the "duck", she bee-lined for it, saying "duck, duck" over and over. It's one of her few words and I love hearing her say it! She had to give it a big ole squeeze.
As soon as it was acceptable that she wouldn't be in trouble, Haley had to grab it and sit on the couch where her sister couldn't "drool" on it. Funny girl!
We haven't been to the mall in a few weeks, but I am sure the next time we do, we will be visiting Build-A-Bear Workshop to pick out a few outfits. I keep picturing Chirpy Chick as a boy, but I am sure Haley will want to dress him in some girl outfits, so maybe our Chirpy is a girl. I know that whatever she picks, Chirpy will look adorable! Build-A-Bear Workshop has some really adorable clothes!
I love how realistic their clothes are. They look like something I would buy for my girls to wear!
If your little one is looking for a new springtime friend, you will definitely want to check out the Easter collection at Build-A-Bear Workshop! There's something so special about making your own bear, bunny or chick...just the way you like it!
Which of these cute little Easter friends is your favorite?
