Sounds like something I've done. I remember thinking I would never give my kids candy or anything - they would need to listen and behave on their own. Now, I'll give my son (almost 2 1/2) chocolate or another bribe to behave while we're out.
LOL! I've said "smile and you can have a treat" more times than I can count!
