I will always have to work out and always have to watch what I eat. I have had a gym membership at a gym since I was 16 years old, and although I go through periods where I don't go as much, I have never cancelled it. Now that I don't go to work all day, I have been going to the gym 4 or 5 times a week. I am trying to eat better and lose weight before my husband and I go on a cruise in January. I weigh myself every few days (even though some say once a week) and have used a digital scale for the past several years.
The bathroom scale that I had you had to bend down and touch the number of your "user profile". The scale would then display how much weight you had gained or lost since the last time you were on the scale. I used this feature maybe one time, and then just used it as a normal scale that you would step on. I couldn't be bothered to bend down and touch my number.
I was excited when I was asked to review the EatSmart Precision Tracker Digital Bathroom Scale. When I received the scale, I immediately took it out of the box and noticed how nice and sleek it looked and knew it would be OK to leave out in the bathroom.
The scale came with the (4) AAA batteries needed, and I put those in to set it up and to have it auto calibrate. Thinking it would be a pain to program my user profile, I used it for a few days before I actually opened the manual to read the instructions on how to set it up properly. If I would have read it and realized it would take less than a minute to set up my user profile, I would have done it that first day.
Since I have had the EatSmart scale, one of my favorite things about it is that you don't have to "toe tap" it first and wait for the scale to turn on before stepping on. All you do is step directly on it, and within seconds it displays your weight. This makes it not only convenient, but easy to use. My old scale you had to "toe tap" it, wait for the display to clear to 0, and then step on it. I was never able to weigh my daughter on it because she didn't grasp the whole tap first, then wait, then step on concept. With this scale, I have been able to have her step right on and see how much she weighs.
I also LOVE the tracking mode. All you do is hit "set", use the arrows to select the user you are programming, and then step on. It is that easy! This scale then has the software to recognize the user based on profiles with +/-6.6 pounds. The 2nd time I stepped on the scale, it displayed my current weight, then the second display shows how much I have lost or gained since my last time stepping on it. It displays the loss/gain in pounds and in percentages. The third time I stepped on the scale, it displayed my current weight, then the second display showed the difference in pounds and percentages since my last weigh in, and the third display displayed how much I had lost/gained overall since I had first programmed the scale. Now that I have stepped on the scale 3 times, I will get these three displays every time I step on it. This is perfect to help me achieve my weight-loss goals!!
This shows the three display modes each time you step on the scale (current, difference from last time, overall difference). The top number is pounds and the bottom number is percentages.
Not only is this scale sleek and easy to use, but it is accurate too. The weight that was displayed at my house was consistent with my weight at a doctors appointment a few days ago. The digital display is bright and clear and easy to see while you are standing on it.
The EatSmart Precision Tracker Digital Bathroom Scale is available at Amazon.com. At the time of this review, it was available for the sale price of $44.95. (Original list price is $99.95.) This price is a bit higher than my last one, but considering the quality is much better, I feel it is worth the extra bit of cost.

I love this scale! I've never seen one like it! My Hubby is a very athletic guy and always has to keep track of his weight for sports so I think this would be great for us to have!
I'm finding it hard to lose the weight after the second baby! I've been doing Body Pump at the home and gym and hoping it's muscle weight I'm putting on! ;)
I have a circulatory issue and sometimes certain exercise is not easy. This would motivate me to move and see the progress.
I like the fact that it's easy to set up your profile. I'm not as eager to begin something if it's long and drawn out just to get started. i also like that it shows the percentage, gives me another way of looking at things.
I like that the scale is very accurate. I also like that it shows tenths of a pound. My current scale only works in 1/2 pound increments. This would help me see exactly how much I am gaining or losing.
I've just started WeightWatchers online and our scale at home is wack - depending on where it is on the floor it varies 8-12 pounds. I've lost 60 pounds and kept it off, and I have 40 more to go. This scale would help keep track of my progress!

I love this scale's tracking features. Sometimes I forget to write down my weight right away, and don't remember how much I gained or lost since the last time.
I'm so excited because I just joined Weight Watchers! I've set mini goals so then I feel accomplished when I meet each goal. I could so use a new scale!

my scalwe now is NOT accurate ay all. It makes you heavier than you really are so you get discouraged.
I've been dieting for the past 6 months and the scale I have right now is not very reliable. I can get on it 3 or 4 times in a row, and each time the weight is different by a few lbs. This scale will help me to more acurately keep record of my weight.

This scale looks so cool! I have one of those annoying toe tapping scales. With the one we have at the moment we can only weigh ourselves in 1 room, as it doesn't like carpet! Winning this would be a welcome addition to the bathroom.

I love that this scale display's large numbers so it is easy to read your weight when you look down. The scale looks very nice and I could definitely use a new scale that is better quality with bigger numbers. Thank you for this opportunity as I am hoping to shed some pounds after the holiday.
Love that the readout is large enough I don't have to put my "old lady" glasses on- which is good because I usually keep them out on my desk or on my nightstand.

This scale is so unique. I like the fact that it gives you three readings at once. You can really track your weight, and instantly see any weight loss results.
