Are you looking for something fun to do with your little ones this weekend? How about a Kidtoons Matinee? Whether it is your child's first movie experience, or they are regulars at the theater, Kidtoons matinees are great fun for the whole family!
Since 2004, Kidtoons has been bringing beloved and well-known children's brands and entertainment to cineplexes nationwide. We provide a family friendly, affordable, co-viewing experience that parents can count on each month, year-round to bond and create treasured memories with their kids. Each monthly program is designed for kids 2-8 and their parents.
Now playing during the month of October:
Join the Chuggington crew for six fun-filled adventures in Chuggington: Traintastic Adventures! Watch as Brewster tests a speedy new invention, Koko's stunt training saves the day, Wilson gets stuck on the track lift and everybody competes in a big chug-of-war! Young trainees will learn to ride the rails of life alongside their Chuggington pals in this upbeat and fun episodic feature.
If your kids like trains like my kids do, they will love this movie! Give them a peek at the trailer and watch their eyes light up. Then head to the theater to see the Chuggington crew on the big screen!

We don't go to movies much, we tried with our kids about a year ago when my daughter was a newborn and my son was 3 to watch Lorax. My daughter was fussy but it was ok after a while, it's just so much easier to rent movies!
We don't have a whole lot of movie experiences because my daughter is only 15 months. But she did go see Kung Foo Panda 2 when she was a newborn and did great! We tried mirror mirror a couple months ago but only made it about half way thru! luckily it was the dollar show :]
We have not been to a movie yet since my son is almost 3 but I think this would be a great opportunity to test if he is ready especially since he loves chuggington!
The kids LOVE going to the movies...okay, they have been twice, but the popcorn is awesome, and they would love to go to a Chuggington movie!!!
Thank you so much for posting!
child's first movie was American girl Kit my girls loved it.
My daughter takes my grandson to the theater quite a bit. He loves it and watches new movies released. He saw Paranorman, wasn't sure about that one but he really liked it.
I haven't yet tried taking my grandson to a movie theatre yet. He's almost 3 and I don't think he would sit still long enough for a movie. He loves watching Chuggington at home, though!
My daughters first movie in the theater was Brave, she loved the movie and even sat thru it!

My son's first movie was Lion King in 3D. He was 3. I was so surprised he sat through the whole movie and never took off his glasses. He loved it. He's since seen Beauty and the Beast, Nemo 3D, and several others. He loves the big movie screen and getting snowcaps for his treat.

I have never been to a KidToons movie, but my son is in LOVE with Chuggington so I will definitely take him now.
the boys love to see movies on the big screen but it can be a little costly so we don't go very often

We've tried taking my son to the movies once. He wasn't quite ready. We watch movies all the time at home where he can still be loud and not sit still the whole time.
my kids like watching movies at home more than the theatre
they love movies but have not attended a kidtoons matinee
We have not been to a Kidtoons Matinee, but our whole family would really enjoy it.
The kids have a great time playing with Chuggington toys at home, but nothing beat a big-screen experience!
My little grandson just turned 2. I would love to take him to the movies, but am thinking he may be too young yet. I can't remember when we first took our kids to the movies - what age, and how they did.

We went and saw Brave this summer, my son had just turned 3. It turned out to be a little scarier than we thought, but he did okay.
If we had the money my boys would love to go to the movies all the time. The only time we do go is for Christmas Movie has a family or the $1.00 movies in the summer time. They love it :) so we do our own movie theater FUN!
My son is 2 and hasn't been to a movie in the theater yet. But a Chuggington movie would be perfect for his first one!
My 2 year old went to his first movie over the summer and he did surprisingly well! He loves trains so I know he'd like Chuggington.
We first tyook my oldest to movir theater when she was 3 she had a blast loves the loudness and the popcorn of course =)

So sad there isn't a KidToons theater in Wisconsin.. we took our 2.5 yr old to her first movie (The Lorax) this summer and she had a blast! Her favorite part: The popcorn :)
We have not yet taken our 2 year old grandson to the movies yet but we're thinking about it. Wish we had a KidToons Theater in our area! He loves watching movies at home so we know he would love it!

I tried once to take my little one to the movies. Needless to say it didn't go very well. We wait and watch them at home now. I make a big deal out of it for him and he gets up to play it doesn't bother others.
My son loves the movies and is a train nut. We have not been to kid toon yet.
My niece just celebrated her birthday and got an american girl doll. I would love to give her this for Christmas.
My kids love to go to the drive in movie theater. Lots of family fun!
my son is a huge train fan and will be having his 3rd b-day tomorrow he'd love this not quite ready for sitting in a movie theater
We haven't taken the kids to a movie theater yet but they love renting dvds from the redbox machine - I think getting the dvd out of the machine is half the fun for them!

I remember the first time my little guy got a train set. I couldn't believe he had such a strong attention span - he would play with them for hours!
I took my 3 year old to his first movie this summer because the movie theater had free movies. He saw the Clifford movie and loved it!

We love going to the movies! We been to kidtoons before and we love it. We go at least twice a month.
We love the movies, our favorite place to go is Chunky's. You can have dinner or a snack while watching the movies which is great fun. The first movie we brought our son to we were in shock- he sat still through the entire movie just staring up at the screen! Thanks for the chance.
My daughter is too young yet to go to the movie theater, she watches veggie tales once in awhile (it holds her attention for about 5 minutes :))
We have yet to take our little one to the Movies. She is almost 3 so I am thinking a few more months and we can try it!
Thanks

Happy Feet 2 was our first family movie experience and it went great!
I would love to take my son to see Chuggington on the big screen but unfortunatly they are not playing it in Hawaii. He has been to a few movies. He love Chipwrecked and sat so nicely through the whole thing.
My older children have seen each Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Pirates movie in the theatre. My Youngest son hasn't been yet but I can't wait to take him. He loves watching Chuggington at home, we have many of the DVD's.

My youngest grandson is stillt o young to carry to movie, but he likes to watch dvds
We don't have a Kidtoons theater in Arkansas but my son loves Chuggington.
Its really expensive to take a family of 4 to the movies so we mostly just watch Netflix besides there's not many movies worth the expense anymore
We don't have a very kid friendly theatre within 45 minutes from here, so we haven't attempted it yet. I was tempted to take Mason to Finding Nemo 3D as his first movie, but I think we missed our chance. If our theatre offered $2 movies or kid special times, I'd be much more apt to go!
My kids love wilson!

We actually just took my son to see his first movie tonight. We went to the dollar movie to see Brave and he loved it. cwitherstine at zoominternet dot net

We don't go to a lot of movies in the theatre as it is not in the budget but when we do go they love it and are very good.
The first movie my daughter saw in the theater was Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, and she loved it!
I remember when my oldest son was young we went to the new Bird Bird movie. We laughed so hard and had a great time!!! Cheryl Abdelnour cjabdelnour@hotmail.com
My son loves to go on daddy dates to the movies! I think it is a great bonding experience and a nice treat!
I took my niece to see Finding Nemo, and she loved it. I fell asleep, lol, then woke up when it was almost over. She was still sitting there watching the movie very intently. We got the movie on DVD then my other little niece came over to watch it and I fell asleep during that too, haha I woke up towards the end, and my little niece says, to my other niece, she's sleeping, and my other niece says that's how she watches movies, LOL
My kids love going to the movies, that's what they ask to do the most.
My kids love going to the movies. We go at least once a month.

my kids love watching movies. Chuggington is Liam's very favorite and he cannot get enough of it! Where we live there is no cable (gasp), so he this would be awesome to win!
Roxanne D.
we dont have a kidtoons in vermont it would be nice if one came here though
My kids love watching movies now that they're a little older, but we still don't do well with 3D movies.
We don't usually go to the movies. We usually just rent it/watch online. Much easier!
I am the Nana now and my daughter and SIL do not have cable, so the kids have old VHS tapes from when our kids were little or some DVDs that they get for presents.

My grandson loves movies, just like my kids did when they were younger. He loves trains, so any show with trains he wants to watch. He would love this dvd. He has never been to a movie theater with him yet.
