I love fast cars! I always have. I grew up with a father who always owned some type of fast car, and then married a man who, up until Rylie came along, was always behind the wheel of something super fast. Both my dad and Brian raced their cars periodically, and I will never forget the first time I went flying down the track with my dad. Talk about an adrenaline rush!
We're not die-hard race fans, but I have to admit that there is something thrilling about watching those cars speed around the track during NASCAR races. Brian even experienced that thrill first hand a few years ago when he got to drive a race car at speeds you just can't reach out on the open road.
Yep. That's my speed demon husband behind the wheel!
Coca-Cola has been a long time sponsor of NASCAR and many of it's drivers, and the Coca-Cola racing family currently has three drivers in the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup series - Denny Hamlin, Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle. Which Coca-Cola Racing Family Driver would you like to see win the Chase?
Coca-Cola and @CocaColaRacing know the thrill of being live at the track. But, have you ever wondered what goes on inside the cockpit? Or ever wonder how your favorite driver likes to prepare for a big race? One thing I have always wondered about NASCAR drivers is what type of car they drive when they are off the track. Do they have a constant need for speed and take their work home with them, or do they give up all of that horsepower for something with more luxury?
Coca-Cola wants to help fuel our curiosity by hosting a Google+ Hangout with the three Coca-Cola Racing Family drivers that are competing in the Chase, as well as special guests Elliot Sadler and Dale Jarrett! On Saturday, November 3rd at 12 PM CST, I am going to get my question answered, and one of my lucky readers will also get their question answered! If you have a question for one of the drivers, simply leave it in a comment on this blog post. I will be choosing one comment at random on October 30th to submit to the Hangout. It could be yours!
Unfortunately, I will only be able to submit one question from you all, but not to worry. If your question is not chosen, you still have a chance to get it answered. All you have to do is follow the @CocaColaRacing Twitter handle and tweet a question with the hashtag #CokeRacingHangout asking your favorite driver in the Hangout a question. Questions will be chosen at random by the Hangout moderator prior to the start of the Google+ Hangout.
To keep things interesting even after the Hangout ends at 1 PM CST on November 3rd, the @CocaColaRacing Twitter handle will be continuing the conversation all weekend long, live-tweeting at the race that Sunday and interacting with fans like you! And thanks to Coca-Cola, I will be showing my support for the Coca-Cola drivers with all of these fun goodies...
Would you like to keep your drinks cold in a cooler that looks like a car? You have your chance to win one of these great prize packs in my giveaway below. But first, get those questions in so you have a chance to get yours answered LIVE!
