If you are my friend on Facebook, you will always know what I'm doing, how I'm feeling or where I'm going. Not that anyone cares half the time, but I just can't help it. I constantly post pictures of the kids so we can share with friends and family, and this weekend was no exception.
On Saturday, Rylie and I spent a fun girls' afternoon with our good friends Peyton and Jenn, and thanks to my new Droid Incredible and super fast internet service from Verizon Wireless, I was able to share our fun times with all of my friends. I just couldn't resist snapping a picture of Rylie and Peyton with their sparkly nails during our first stop at the nail salon, and I had to upload it to Facebook.
After we all had pretty nails and toes, we headed out for some lunch and shopping. Our first stop at the mall was to the play area and the bungee jump where both Rylie and Peyton had a blast flying high into the sky. Of course everyone on Facebook needed to see these girls up in the air, so I quickly uploaded these photos...
After some clothes shopping for all things girly, Jenn wanted to stop in a store to look around for something for herself. There was a "stage" up in the front of the store, so I asked the girls to sit and rest their weary legs while Jenn shopped. Rylie's shoes were bothering her so she took them off, and the next thing I knew, there were two little dancers cutting loose and showing off their moves.
Yep, you guessed it...uploaded to Facebook. After all, it isn't all that often that you catch a 4 year old dancing like John Travolta...
The photos weren't enough, though. I wanted my friends to really experience the show that was being put on at the front of the store, so I switched from photo to video on my Incredible and caught the girls in action...
I have taken several videos with my smartphones over the years, but I always had problems uploading them directly from my phone. Not this time. Within minutes, that video was on my Facebook timeline, and my friends were all impressed with Rylie's "moves".
By the way, the photos and video above have not been edited in any way. I am very impressed with the quality of the camera on my Incredible. The dance pictures were a little blurry, but the stars of the show were in constant motion and the lighting was not the greatest, so they are actually better than I expected them to be. I think the video came out great for a cell phone video.
I am so glad I had my Droid Incredible with me during our afternoon! I was able to share our fun times and preserve memories that we will never want to forget. Although I don't think I'll ever forget that stellar performance!
Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Ambassador program and have been provided with a wireless device and three months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.

I agree that Verizon Wireless is super fast, wish i would have switched sooner!!
Hello lady!! Welcome to the new age of technology where your phone can accept pictures....lol! I love Rylie doing John Travolta...it was great!! I am emailing you now...
I am definitely not up to par with phone technology but I am afraid I would constantly be on the internet if it was in my pocket. My kids would love the little bungy jumping activity, they are always on the neighbors trampoline!
