JJ Cole Collections Baby Necessities {Review & Giveaway}

As a new mom, I wasn’t quite sure what baby items out there were really useful versus just something else to have. I never got a small diaper bag, just a typical large bag that can hold everything I might possibly need for my baby. Once my daughter started daycare I was toting her big bag back and forth for the first couple of weeks, just in case. I quickly grew tired of hauling the diaper bag in and out every day and quit bringing it for the drive. As any experienced mom knows, I have been tempting fate.

JJ Cole Collections offers a great solution for moms like me, their diapers & wipes pod. This handy little (10.5” x 6”) pod holds two or more diapers depending on the size, along with wipes and a changing pad.

My husband actually looked at it and said, "that would be great but you don’t have a pad to lay down." Imagine his surprise when I pulled out the very generously sized changing pad (25” x 15”) from inside the pod.

The changing pad and pod are made out of easy-to-clean, laminated canvas. The convenient “attach-anywhere” handle allows you to snap the pod to a stroller, shopping cart or anywhere else you might want. Your contents are secure as there is a Velcro tab to keep the pod closed. I keep the diapers & wipes pod in my vehicle now, so that I will never be caught without the bare essentials!

Another great item that JJ Cole Collections offers for parents on the go is the bottle pod. If you need to run out and keep your bottle cool or warm for a couple hours, this fully insulated bottle carrier is just what you are looking for.

The bottle pod should fit most bottles and sippy cups and easily fit my daughter’s eight ounce Dr. Brown’s bottle with the cover on.

The zip closure provides a secure seal on the bottle pod and the leak-resistant, wipeable outer fabric is machine washable. The slim size of the bottle pod fits perfectly in your purse or you can use the “attach-anywhere” handle to snap it onto something. There is also enough room in the pod for a bib or small burp cloth.

My daughter just started eating baby food and therefore needs to wear bibs on a regular basis. Have you noticed that most bibs have cute sayings or pictures on them, but have no backing to protect your child’s clothes from getting wet? JJ Cole Collections has bib sets that are not only cute, but made of wipeable fabric for easy cleanup.

The bibs are nice sized (10” x 9”) and have a catch-all pocket for older babies and toddlers. Another great feature the bibs have is the three-snap closure for an adjustable fit; as my daughter grows I won’t have to buy different sized bibs or worry about Velcro closures losing their “stick”.

I have to say that prior to this review I did not own any JJ Cole products. I am extremely glad that I am aware of them now.
