Simplify Your First Week Back With Kraft {Review & Giveaway}

If your kids haven't already gone back to school, chances are they will be going back after the Labor Day holiday. School started in our county three weeks ago, and even though my kids didn't really go "back to school" since they are in daycare full time, Rylie started VPK and both kids started swimming lessons that week. Our evenings were already busy enough as it was, and they are even crazier now with swimming lessons in the mix.

This time of year not only brings busy mornings of rushing to get everyone to school and work on time, but also fast-paced evenings of getting kids to sports practices and other after-school activities, so I'm sure a lot of you are constantly running like we are. I am always in need of dinner ideas and other products that will make our school days (and nights!) simpler, and Kraft Foods has just what I need! If you read my blog regularly, then you know my kids are picky eaters. We have the same 4 or 5 meals week after week, and while they are happy to eat their favorites over and over again, Brian and I like a little variety. It is so difficult for us to come up with dinner ideas that Rylie and Bryce will actually eat, so I was a little bit nervous about trying the Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Lasagna.

To my surprise, both Rylie and Bryce scarfed it right down. In fact, the whole family enjoyed it! It was easy and quick to make, so dinner was on the table when my mom and the kids got home from swimming lessons. We added a side of vegetables (corn is about the only vegetable my kids like), and had a great dinner that even my picky eaters enjoyed!

We currently have Bryce on a dairy-free diet because his pediatrician believes he is lactose intolerant, so we scooped out some of the lasagna for him before we added the cheese sauce. It was nice having this option so the whole family could eat the same meal together.

Of course, my little cookie monsters would have been happy to eat the entire package in one sitting, but two was enough for their after-dinner treat.
