Quality Handmade Leather Bags By Adeleshop {Review & Giveaway}

I am not a big accessory girl. This goes for jewelry, shoes and purses. In fact, I only own one purse. I usually buy a new purse every two or three years and carry it around until it falls apart. Therefore, I need my purse to be both functional and of the highest quality so that it will last.

The purse I had been carrying around for several years now was starting to look a little ragged, so when I was contacted by Laura from Adeleshop about reviewing one of her unique handbags, I decided to check them out. I was surprised at how much I liked the handmade purses and totes I found in her etsy shop. There were many different styles available in several different colors.

After looking around at the different leather handbags, I decided to go with the Max in black. I liked the casual look of this bag and loved all of the different compartments it seemed to have. I am big on organization and I like to keep the contents of my purse separated. I also love to have small pockets here and there for quick access to items like my phone and business cards.

When my Max bag arrived, I was immediately thrilled! I could tell just by looking at it how great the quality was. There was not one flaw in this bag, and it was put together very well. The outside is made from a soft leather, so the bag is not stiff at all. The inside is lined with a punk rock type fabric, which I thought was pretty cool.

The Max is available in three sizes, and I received the medium. It is plenty big enough for me, and then some. I always have my necessities in my purse like my wallet and phone, but I also usually carry around a bottle of water. If Rylie and Bryce are with me, there is no telling what else I may need room for, and this bag is big enough to hold it all.

There are two small pockets on the interior of one side which are perfect for my phone and business cards, and the inside has two large compartments, separated by a zippered compartment in the middle. There are also two small outer zippered pockets on each side. I was able to transfer the contents of my current purse and I still had plenty of room for more! I was even able to throw my sweater in there when we went out the other night.

I loved that two different straps were included. With the smaller strap, you can carry the bag over your shoulder and keep it close. If you attach the larger strap, you can still carry it over your shoulder, or even across your body. This will be great when I'm running around with the kids so I don't have to worry about my purse slipping off my shoulder while chasing a two year old through the mall.

I decided to go with the longer strap and just carry it over my shoulder, like in the middle picture. It looks nice, doesn't it? I actually felt like I had some style when I went out the other night with my new purse!

I really can't say enough about the quality of this bag. It is beyond awesome! The stitching is perfect and all of the zippers and pockets are perfectly aligned. The hardware used to connect the strap is heavy duty, and I feel good knowing that it will not break. There is nothing worse than carrying a heavy bag around in your arms all night! The zippers are sturdy and will keep my belongings secure.

I absolutely LOVE my new bag from Adeleshop and I still cannot believe this bag is handmade. It looks and feels like something you would find at a high end department store. In fact, it is most likely made better than those department store brands. I'm telling you, the craftsmanship is absolutely exquisite! There is not one single flaw in this bag. Laura is awesome at what she does!

Most of the bags you will find at Adeleshop range in price from $135 to around $180. The medium Max bag like I received is $150. While that price may seem high to some, let me assure you that it is worth every penny! You get the same quality, if not better, that you will find in designer handbags, for a fraction of the cost. I would easily pay $150 for the Max!
