J Is For Jeep Wrangler Sport Jogging Stroller {Review & Giveaway}

Running has never been something that I am good at. I ran regularly in Air Force basic training and then again when I lived with my best friend back in my early twenties. I always felt great after a run, but it was hard for me. I would much rather be on an elliptical machine at the gym.

That said, I no longer have time to go to the gym, but I need to find a way to get in shape. I have several friends who run and most of them are in great shape. I need an exercise routine that includes my family since we don't get to spend much time together during the week, so running seems like the way to go. The kids like to ride their bikes and go for walks, but since Bryce is so small, we don't walk at a fast pace at all. Now that I have my J is for Jeep Wrangler Sport Jogger, I can get in some cardio while still spending time with my family!

We can now all go out on the nice trail near our house, and we can go at a faster pace. Rylie can ride her bike while Brian and I take turns jogging beside her and giving Bryce a ride in this awesome stroller. Of course we will let Bryce do some running also, since he loves to run, but when he gets tired and can no longer keep up, he can ride.

We recently received the new J is for Jeep Jogging Stroller for review. I figured it would take a while to put together, but with a screwdriver and a handy husband, it was assembled in just a few minutes.

When Brian told me he was done assembling the stroller I walked out into the dining room to check it out and was immediately WOWed. Just by pushing it around the room, I could tell how sturdy it was.

The J is for Jeep Jogging Stroller comes with the iBaby Sound System. You can plug in your iPod or MP3 player and listen to music without having to wear headphones. This is such a great feature so that you can still hear your child, and you can both listen to music at the same time. Being the tech geek that my husband is, he had to check this feature out first. The speaker wasn't very loud, but you could hear it just fine.

This stroller has a multi-position reclining seat. Your child can be upright, or practically laying flat. It also has a large canopy for those sunny days.

To adjust the seat, simply loosen or tighten the strap in the back. This is probably the only feature that I don't absolutely love about this stroller. I would rather just be able to click it into the position I want it in, rather than having to deal with the strap. I guess with this method, though, you aren't limited to only three positions like with most strollers.

Children up to 60 pounds can ride in the J is for Jeep Jogger, and there are three different slots so you can adjust the height of the 5 point harness restraint. Since you will be jogging with this stroller, the 5 point harness system is definitely important for safety!

I told you that this stroller was very sturdy, and it is also very easy to push. I don't think any of our strollers glide as easily as this one does, and trust me, I have had my experience with strollers. The smooth ride is due to the shock absorbing suspension system, which really makes a difference!

The 16-inch rear air-filled tires allow for increased performance on uneven surfaces, while the forward-locking front wheel provides increased stability. When I initially started jogging with this stroller I didn't have the front wheel locked, and it vibrated badly on the rough surface. As soon as I locked the wheel, there was no vibration whatsoever. You can unlock the wheel for every day use for easier maneuvering.

Since this is a jogging stroller, and you can't go jogging without water (at least not in this Florida heat), there are cup holders for everyone! There is a cup holder for the child in the front, and two cup holders on the iBaby Parent Tray. This is a feature that is important to me on any stroller.

The Smart Handle makes this stroller ideal for people of all heights. It adjusts several inches up or down, and I found that I was most comfortable with it right in the middle.

The one feature of strollers that I am very picky about is the cargo area. I need to have a space to store my stuff. While you don't need much storage to go out for a jog, I do need it for every day use. I was excited to see that this stroller has a large, easy to reach storage area underneath.

So now that I have told you about all of the great features of the J is for Jeep Jogging Stroller, you're probably wondering if I have jogged with it. The answer to that is yes, and I loved every single minute of it! This is a heavy stroller, and I was amazed at how easy it was to jog with, even for someone who is as out of shape as I am.

Once I figured out that the front wheel needed to be locked while jogging, it was almost as if I wasn't even pushing anything. Since I have never jogged with a stroller before, I don't have anything to compare this to, but in comparison with the other strollers we have, I can tell you that the wheels and the suspension of the Jeep Jogging Stroller definitely make a difference.

I let the kids take turns riding in the stroller while I walked, jogged and sprinted up and down our street. They had a great time, and so did I. Seriously, this stroller might just make me a runner after all. Forget that elliptical machine in front of the TV in the gym...it was so much nicer to be out jogging in the fresh air! Not only that, this great stroller allowed us to all exercise together, and for me, family fitness is very important. Kids do what they see, you know?

Once we were done exercising for the evening, we brought the stroller in and folded it up. It was super easy to fold, and the Free-Stand design allows it to stand upright when folded, which is great for space saving.

But wait, there is more! One feature that I haven't mentioned yet (because I have no use for it) is that this stroller is compatible with many infant car seats, with no adapter required. This includes Baby Trend, Britax, Chicco, Cosco, Graco, Peg Perego and Safety 1st. So for all you new moms who want to start shedding that baby weight as soon as possible, the J is for Jeep Jogging Stroller will help you do just that, and your little one can ride along!

I absolutely LOVE this stroller! I have owned several strollers over the past few years and the J is for Jeep Jogging Stroller is definitely at the top of my list as far as quality and functionality. I would highly recommend this stroller for anyone who is looking to get in shape while still spending time with their family. I felt so good after jogging with this stroller, and I can't wait to hit the pavement again!

This stroller is exclusively sold at Buy Buy Baby stores for $299.99. While that price may initially seem a little on the high side at first, I can honestly say that it is worth every penny! This stroller is built to last!
