We started going to Chick-fil-A on Tuesdays several months ago for Family Night. The kids ate free and they got to do crafts, which Rylie LOVED. There was a table set up in the back with someone from Spark! Family Enrichment Center who did different projects with the kids each week. It was usually Ms. Danica, who was so great with the kids, and who Rylie really liked. As soon as we walked in, Rylie would go right back to the craft table and get started on her project for the week.
Unfortunately, Family Night is no more at Chick-fil-A (at least not at the location near us), but we still go every Tuesday. It has become a tradition for us. Peyton, one of Rylie's best friends, and her mom always join us, and some weeks other friends come to play too. Even though there is no more craft table, we still have ice cream...
...and Bryce still tries to steal our sodas when he can.
After everyone fills their bellies, we all head out to the playground so the kids can tire themselves out. I love the playground at our Chick-fil-A because it is outdoors and doesn't smell like feet. It is usually very clean, and the employees always come out to check on us to see if we need refills on our drinks or anything else. Oh, and they pretty much know us by name there.
The kids have such a great time horsing around, and the adults enjoy relaxing.
At some point in the evening, Bryce usually turns into a ferocious monster and chases the girls around the playground. It is so funny to watch. I can only imagine what we get to look forward to in the teenage years with Bryce chasing Rylie's friends around. haha
The kids run and run and run, and by the time we get home, they are beat. We all absolutely love our Chick-fil-A Tuesdays, and I hope we can keep our weekly tradition going.
I have to mention also that the employees at our Chick-fil-A are the nicest kids ever! Yes, kids. I honestly don't know if anyone who works there is over 20. They are all so polite and so eager to please their customers. I rarely see service this good at any retail establishment, and it is nice to see a company who prides itself on their employees like our Chick-fil-A does.
Do you have any weekly traditions with your family?

Our Chick-fil-A is in the mall so no way I'm braving that each Tuesday LOL. Mall means no playground either.
I wish we had one near us but...we don't. They need to keep the crafts for the kids, they love that. Little Bryce..haha, he is just too cute! Yeppers, you will have your hand full when they are bigger. Your phone will be ringing off the hook with guys and girls calling for your kids...good luck! lol
Our weekly tradition is Friday nights sleeping on the living room floor on the big black blanket. The kids get to stay up as late as they want to watching tv/movies on the kiddie netflix.
Speaking of CFA we are heading there tonight for dinner before church. Anytime I ask the kids where they want to eat the immediate answer is Chick Fil A.
Our town is rumored to be getting a CFA and I can't wait! We love their food and especially their service. They are always so helpful!
This sounds like a nice family tradition. I love the chicken sandwiches at Chick-fil-a. We get pizza most Friday nights at our house. jj250@aol.com
We have a family movie night here. I wish we had a Chick-fil-a here. It sounds like my grandchildren would just love it.
Our Chick File here has been a lifesavers during the hot Texas summers. I just love em. Little things like having mats to stick to the table for todders, and kids meal toys I don't hate taking home.
