Stay Cool This Summer With A Haircut From Cool Cuts 4 Kids {Review & Giveway}

Cool Cuts 4 Kids

When I find a company or brand that I love, I tend to stick with that company. Whether it is a store I shop in that has great customer service, a restaurant that has delicious food without fail, or a product that continues to work for me time after time, I don't usually switch from a brand that I am consistently happy with. One company that I am loyal to is Cool Cuts 4 Kids.

Cool Cuts 4 Kids is the nation's largest salon chain just for kids. The friendly stylists are experts when it comes to working with kids, and are trained to deal with different temperaments, special needs or sensory difficulties. The salons are bright and colorful, and even the most hesitant kids will want to go in and play!

We have been going to Cool Cuts 4 Kids since Rylie had her first real haircut before she was a year old. She has since been back several times a year, including the first and second times she decided to get her hair all chopped off. Bryce also had his first haircut there, and has been back many times since.

Oh and by the way, first haircuts are a big deal at Cool Cuts 4 Kids! When your child has that first haircut, you will receive a certificate with a lock of their hair, and you can also purchase a photo magnet for all of those pictures you are sure to take!

Bryce was in desperate need of a haircut a couple weekends ago, so the two of us headed out to Cool Cuts 4 Kids to get him looking cool. I really just wanted the back and sides trimmed up, since we decided to let the top grow out a bit. I still can't decide how I want his hair, but when we had it cut really short the last time, I didn't particularly like it. (It wasn't the stylists fault...she did what I asked her to do.) Here is the "before" picture. I know it isn't long by any means, but it was definitely time to get it cleaned up.

Bryce needs a haircut

When we arrived at Cool Cuts 4 Kids, Bryce ran right over to the play section for little kids. In this section there is a train table, a Lego table and a TV. Of course Bryce went right for the trains!

Big kids will also find entertainment at Cool Cuts 4 Kids in the form of video game consoles that they can play while waiting to get their hair cut.

Once it is your child's turn, they get to go to one of the fun stations to get their haircut. There is a princess station for the pretty little princesses, or race cars for the little speed racers. There are TVs with DVD players at each station to keep kids entertained while the stylists work their magic.

Haircut time is so much fun for Rylie and Bryce these days, but it didn't always use to be that way. Both of my kids used to scream their little heads off while getting their hair cut, and the stylists were always patient with them, even though they were trying to cut hair on wiggly kids who would not hold still. Now, though, my kids climb right up in those chairs with a smile!

Bryce ready for his haircut

On this particular visit, Bryce watched Cars while he got his hair cut. He followed directions well and moved his head when he was asked to.

He even sat still when she got the clippers out. Well, almost. After all, it tickles!

A few minutes later he was out of the race car and up in the front of the store. You see, there are toys up there for the good little girls and boys. You can also purchase some great hair care products made especially for kids.

Hair care products

My kids don't usually ask for toys, but Bryce did this time and asked for a car. How can I say no to this face? After all, he was very good!

All done!

I was very happy with the way his hair looked after it was cut. Now I just hope the top grows faster than the back!

Usually I bring a coloring book while my daughter is getting her haircut, but for the most part she is just entertained by the fact she is getting a haircut! Thanks:)

My daughter has never had a haircut before. She is almost 4 yers old. I want to get her one soon, probably just a trim though. I'd probably give her a lollipop to be still.

I am lucky that my kids sit still...even my 2 year old. So I just talk to them.

We haven't gotten my Daughter's hair cut yet (She's 19mths). But my oldest is 6 and we usually have him sit in my lap-it's a challenge for him to sit still, but we try! We just talk to him during the whole hair cut process to try to keep him entertained!

My son loves the place he goes to. It's a real "Man's man" who cuts his hair. But they talk about sports, TV, cars. It's hysterical. My son is only 6, but his barber is like his buddy.
