I'm A Maytag Laundry Mom! #MaytagMoms

Maytag Dependable Laundry Mom

Laundry. What a chore! The piles seem to keep multiplying around here. If you walk into my house on just about any evening or during the weekend, you are sure to hear the sound of clothes, towels, sheets and even shoes bouncing around in my washer or dryer. I'm afraid that I am running them to death!

Our dryer went kaput right before Christmas last year and we celebrated Christmas with wet clothes hanging all over our house. While I love decorating for Christmas, the "stockings were hung by the chimney with care" line took on a whole new meaning. We got the dryer fixed, but I figure it is just a matter of time before it goes for good. With all of the laundry that is done in this house, that would definitely be a crisis. That is why I was beyond excited to receive the email stating that I had been selected as a Maytag Mom!

I no longer have to worry about not having clean, dry clothes to wear, because Maytag is sending me these beauties to try out...

Maytag Bravos Pair

I will soon receive the Bravos XL HE Top Load Washer with PowerWash System, and the Bravos XL High-Efficiency Electric Steam Dryer! I have never in my life been so excited to do laundry!

Not only will I be able to power through more dirty clothes in fewer loads, thanks to the huge 4.6 cu. ft. capacity of the Bravos washer, I will also be eliminating 95% of common household allergens from our clothes. I have never heard of a washer that will help with my environmental allergies, so this is huge for me! And don't even get me started on the stains that Rylie and Bryce get all over their clothes (and mine too!). I can't wait to see if the PowerWash system really delivers the best cleaning in the industry.

I think I am most excited about the Bravos dryer. Why? Well, with our busy lives, I tend to put clothes in the dryer and forget about them. They may sit in there for a day or so, and when I take them out, they are badly wrinkled. I guess I should mention that I hate loathe ironing! I am super excited about the Auto Refresh cycle on the Bravos dryer, which helps relax wrinkles and uses steam to refresh clothes. I may never have to iron again! Add that to the Advanced Moisture Sensing technology that is supposed to prevent overdrying and shrinking and this might just be the best dryer ever! My kids grow fast enough as it is, and I would love to be able to keep their clothes the same size they were when I purchased them.

Stay tuned over the next few months to hear my thoughts on the Maytag Bravos washer and dryer. Maybe, just maybe, laundry won't be such a chore around here, and those piles will start to disappear!

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I wrote this post while participating in the Maytag Moms Dependable Laundry Ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Maytag. I will be provided with the Maytag washer and dryer set to facilitate my post.

That's awesome, lucky you. With two little boys in my house we are constantly doing laundry, if its not spilled food/milk then its mud/grass stains.

WOW, what a great sponsorship! I'd be on top of the world if I got to try out a Maytag! I know how you feel, with 6 kids and now down to ONLY 4 at home, our washer and dryer is humming all day practically.
My favorite part would be that Auto Refresh. We are always leaving the house for kids sports or other events and coming back hours later to clothing wrinkled in the dryer, and sometimes it is forgotten for hours more or even a couple of days. I resorted to placing a wet washcloth in to spruce the load up and get the wrinkles out, but what a waste of extra drying. I have heard ONLY good things about Maytag so am sure you will love the set!

I will be keeing an eye out for your review, especially of the steam dryer. We have replaced our washer but I am delaying the dryer because I haven't decided on the features I want, and am considering steam dryers.

Oh...you lucky lady! Good for you! I'd be super excited as well....wow. I'll bet my daughter would like to be a Maytag Mom also. She has 3 children plus my son and his 3 are now staying with her. Oodles of laundry and she has a rather small washer and dryer.
