Busy busy busy. That is the story of my life, especially during the week. My mornings start when my alarm clock goes off at 5:00 AM, and my evenings end around midnight when I finally pry my fingers from my keyboard and go to bed. I am constantly saying "there are not enough hours in the day", and when you are a working parent of two little kids, that is so true.
Since I don't get to spend much time with my kids during the week, I'm certainly not going to spend the few hours that I do have in the evenings cooking dinner. We need for our weeknight dinner preparation to be quick and simple. While it would be so easy to just run through a drive through after I pick the kids up from school, I want my family to eat healthier meals that we make at home.
Publix knows that the best meals happen at home, so they are excited to help you enjoy family mealtime without having to stress about what to prepare or spending hours in the kitchen. Visit BestMealsatHome.com to sign up and receive emails with weekly recipes and coupon offers that will help you save up to $200 this year!
Stop by Publix from June 21st through June 27th to take advantage of great savings on some of your favorite participating brands during the "Best Meals Happen at Home" event. Look for in-store for coupons that will be valid through July 11th, 2012.
When you visit Best Meals at Home online, you will find FASTastic recipes that can be cooked in 30 minutes or less. Those are my kind of recipes! Since my kids love fast food chicken nuggets, I was happy to find a recipe for chicken nuggets that we can make at home. These nuggets are made from real chicken breast meat, and are baked instead of fried. This will be a healthier option for my kids and I know they will love it!
