In our house, the only batteries we use are Energizer batteries. When I find a brand that I know and trust, I am loyal to that brand. Not only does Energizer make batteries that fit every need we have ever had for batteries, I like that they are helping to make the world a better place through their now that's positivenergy campaigns. For decades, Energizer has supported organizations helping to make a positive impact in local communities and around the world.
This spring, Energizer is "building" on that commitment in a new way through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity®. Working with baseball legend and philanthropist Cal Ripken, Jr., Energizer is donating more than $300,000 and 1,000 volunteer hours to Habitat through a multi-city series of volunteer projects to help build new homes and revitalize existing homes for those in need.
With the rising cost of utilities, we can all use a little bit of help right? Especially with the hot summer we're sure to have here in Sunny Florida! So, beyond helping Habitat, Energizer is doing something to help us all out. In addition to the series of volunteer projects, you will see the Energizer and Habitat for Humanity partnership coming to the shelves of your favorite stores. Through the Energizer Utility Cash program, you can collect codes from select Energizer battery and lighting products and redeem them online for savings, up to $25 total savings each per person/household/email address, off your own utility bill. You start earning rewards with just two codes and will need 10 codes total to earn the full $25. Or you can help make a positive impact and choose to turn the codes into a donation to Habitat for Humanity®.
For more information on Energizer's partnership with Habitat for Humanity®, visit nowthatspositivenergy.com. You will also find tips on how to save energy in your home, and learn more about products focused on performance and responsibility. While you're there, make sure you enter to win a Home Power Kit valued at $300 through Energizer's Facebook page.

All new ee light bulbs, all electronics are plugged into sure protectors and turned off when we are not home or at night, we do most of our laundry in cold water. We also keep or thermostat at 76 in the summer and 68 in the winter.

gonna make people mad always do but you are all missing the boat. take that big ol' central unit to the scrap yard use the $$ you get from the copper and buy window units. we live in the deep south. kept central set at 74 and roasted now keep window units at 68. even with 3 rate increases our bill went from 240$ to 110$ nobody can save that much with the little fixes the power company tells you about. remember they are for the most part a for profit business. our window units use approximately the same power as our COFFEE MAKER sorry i rant but it is so true
