Create A Sticker Scene With Gelarti {Review & Giveaway}

Gelarti

When I was young, I loved doing crafts. It seems as though Rylie is following in my footsteps. She loves to draw, color and create! She can honestly make a craft out of just about anything. Just the other day she took a paper cup and made a frog. I'm amazed at just how creative she is.

Rylie also loves stickers, and the walls and furniture in our house can prove it. While sometimes I miss my clean, white walls, I enjoy seeing Rylie's "decorations" here and there.

We recently learned about some new paint your own stickers called Gelarti, and when I found out that these stickers peel off of surfaces easily and can be used again and again, I knew this would be the perfect craft idea for Rylie!

Color your world this spring with Gelarti™, a unique line of gel stickers called from Moose Toys! Gelarti encourages kids to use their imaginations to design, create and swap their very own colorful and reusable stickers. Using Gelarti’s specially formulated paint, kids design and paint their stickers, peel them off and place them just about anywhere. Parents will be delighted to know the stickers leave behind no messy residue. Gelarti will provide kids with an engaging and creative experience over and over again!

Gelarti is available in different forms such as Designer Studio, Activity Pack and 4 different Scene Packs.

We received one of the Scene Packs for review. Each Gelarti Scene Pack comes with two paint pens, one glitter paint pen and four sticker sheets. Our scene was full of forest animal stickers.

Gelarti Scene Pack Forest/Creatures

Rylie was excited to get started creating her stickers. She laid out her 4 sticker sheets and chose the one she wanted to start with.

When she first opened the paint pen, I figured she would squeeze the paint out everywhere. However, the paint is thick so it doesn't come out without squeezing it gently, and she was able to stay inside the sticker borders pretty well.

Rylie creating with Gelarti

The Gelarti paint pens are the perfect size for little hands! They are big enough for small children to hold, and the tip is small enough so that the paint goes where they want it to.

Gelarti Paint Pen

Rylie was having such a great time designing her stickers that I asked if I could join in. She enthusiastically said yes, picked out a sticker sheet for me to paint, and we spent some time together painting and creating.

Rylie and Mommy designing stickers

She gave me instructions on how to paint my little squirrel because she wanted it to look like hers. She was such a cute little teacher!

Gelarti Stickers

Once we both finished our first set of stickers, we set them aside and started on the next set. I was having a great time painting with her, so when she asked me if I wanted to paint another sheet, I have to admit I was happy she did.

At one point, Bryce came over to check out what we were doing. Of course he wanted to paint with us, so we gave him a piece of paper and let him use a little bit of the leftover paint. There was plenty left when we were finished with all 4 sets of stickers.

Bryce checking out Gelarti

We finished creating our stickers and then left them to dry. They are supposed to dry for 6 hours at least, but ours dried for a full day.

Finished stickers

When Rylie came home from school the next day, she was so excited to decorate her walls with the Gelarti stickers! She took the two sheets she made and headed up to her room. She stuck some on the wall and some on her door and made a cute little forest scene.

Decorating with Gelarti Gelarti decorated walls

She then decided that the stickers I made needed to be in my room, so she decorated my walls also.

Gelarti creations

It has been a few days since Rylie decorated the walls with the Gelarti stickers, and they are still in place. They do come off easily when you want them to, and can be moved and stuck to the wall again.

We had such a fun time creating our stickers, and we will definitely be purchasing more Gelarti kits in the future! This is such a fun craft idea for kids of all ages, and I highly recommend Gelarti if your child likes to create!

Gelarti Scene Packs are available at major retailers like Toys R Us, Kmart and Target for $9.99 each. I would suggest purchasing one of the larger kits and a scene pack, or multiple scene packs, so that you have more than just 3 colors.
