Pillsbury's 45th Bake-Off Contest {Walmart GC Giveaway}

I love to bake! Well, at least I did when I had some free time. These days, I'm doing well if I can toast some waffles for the kids. When I did bake, though, I always had to follow a recipe. I was never one of those that could create delicious treats from scratch like the entrants from Pillsbury's 45th Bake-Off Contest.

Thanks to Pillsbury's Bake-Off Contest and all of the delicious recipes submitted, I now have 100 new recipes to use the next time I want to bake up something yummy for my family. Well, when I have some free time, that is. We were shopping at Walmart last weekend when out of the corner of my eye I spotted the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls in the refrigerated section. It was late on a Saturday night, and I thought that the cinnamon rolls would make a great treat for my family for breakfast on Sunday, and give us a break from the usual waffles.

While I didn't have to create a baked treat from scratch, I put a lot of love into making these delicious cinnamon rolls for my family. I made one batch of Cinnamon Rolls with Chocolate Icing and one batch of Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing.

The chocolate iced cinnamon rolls were gobbled up quickly by everyone, and we had a few of the cream cheese iced rolls for breakfast the next day. They were so yummy! Rylie and Bryce had never had cinnamon rolls before, and they are still asking when they can have them again! So even though I might not be able to bake like the finalists of the Bake-Off Contest, I sure did have some smiles in my house that Sunday!
