Fincredibles: No-Maintenance Pets For Busy Moms {Review & Giveaway}

Fincredibles

Up until last year, we had four pets in our house. Between the human family members and the furry ones, we had a lot of mouths to feed. Due to several tragic events last year, we are now down to one dog, who I love dearly. I have jokingly told my husband that I would like to get another dog to keep Chloe company, but the truth is, I don't really want another pet at this time. Our lives are so chaotic, and I just don't have the energy to take on another animal right now.

We did recently take on a new pet, but this pet doesn't need food. In fact, this pet doesn't need much of anything. "Nemo", our new Fincredibles fish, is never hungry, and always happy. This is the kind of pet for me!

Leave it up to Gemmy to come up with another lifelike pet that is fun for the whole family! These electronic fish are the perfect pets for adults and kids alike. All you have to do is fill the bowl with water and watch the fish come to life. You can tap the cap to interact with the fish in different ways. These realistic-looking fish come in Clownfish, Guppy and Goldfish varieties.

Clownfish Guppy Oranda Goldfish

Rylie and Bryce were super excited to see our new pet and couldn't wait to play with him. Brian quickly filled the fish bowl with water, and the kids immediately started tapping the top of the bowl to make "Nemo" swim around. Just like the other lifelike pets we have from Gemmy, I was delighted to see just how realistic this fish was.

What is even cooler about the Fincredibles fish is that it lights up. It makes for a great nightlight! You can watch this little video to see for yourself just how cool our new pet is...

Are you still looking for a unique Mother's Day gift for a special mom in your life? Bringing fun for the whole family is a delightful way to celebrate Mother's Day, and I think this would be a fun novelty gift for any mom! Of course it would be an awesome gift for children at any time! Fincredibles are available at Kmart and Cracker Barrel for $24.99. At the time of this review, I also found it on Amazon for $23.45 with free shipping.

my daughter will name the fish - his / her name will be a surprise as she randomly names her stuffed animals (and eventually our real cat) after events and things what were important for her that day

Thank you for hosting this giveaway

My Honey/Hubby - an avid swimmer, snorkler, scuba diver would love to have an aquarium - one with real live fish...

But between his ah -sometimes forgetful (negelectful?) inattention to detail (like feeding and cleaning times) AND our two very curious CATS - we would do far better with a essentially kill-proof electronic fish...

I already know his two favorite names for our next pets (whatever they might be):

Bojador and BabaGanoush... Don't ask - they are long long stories....
