My son could not wait for his 4th birthday this year. His birthday is in the month of April, however months before he had already begun the planning process. He indicated that his birthday party needed to be a superhero party. He also requested that his party be at a well known kid-friendly establishment and rattled off a ton of kids he would like to invite to the party.

I loved that he was so excited for his birthday this year and that he was old enough to have some input in what he wanted for his party. However with all of those expectations I began to see dollar signs, and lots of them! When I started researching birthday party supplies I came across Birthdayexpress.com. When I asked my son which superhero theme he would like for his birthday, it took some time for him to decide. Thank goodness we were planning months in advance! ;) Birthday Express offers so many unique themes that you cannot find anywhere else. As I mentioned above my son couldn't wait for his birthday this year! The day had finally arrived this past Saturday and I began decorating the house while he was at his t-ball game. When he returned he was more than thrilled to see the Batman themed birthday party.

"I'm ready to eat Mommy", he says with a smile. He even changed out of his baseball uniform and put on a Batman t-shirt so that he'd match with his party theme.

The kids had a blast playing with the abundance of balloons that came with the party pack. I decorated with a few of each color, but remainders of them were spread throughout the house. Everything from the tablecover to the napkins were of great quality and for the amount of items included in the party pack, you just can't beat the price.

My son spent at least 5 minutes talking to us about of the different characters on the Batman napkins, it was pretty funny. When you flipped the napkins over and opened them up there were a new set of characters to see. So I'd have to say that might have been his favorite item with the exception of the party favors. The placemats were solid yellow on one side and offered a maze and word game on the other side. I do wish the placemats had included a Batman character or two, but they kept the kids occupied during prep and clean-up which was their purpose.
