Tommee Tippee Explora Spill Proof Cups {Review & Giveaway}

I couldn't tell you how many sippy cups we go through in this household. Cups, bottles and pacifiers are definitely the top used items among my boys. Between losing sippy cups, leaving spares at grandparents and everyday wear we seem to always be in need of a new set of cups.

Depending on your child's age, Tommee Tippee offers a variety of products in stages for your little ones. One issue I wanted to resolve with our current sippy cups is the spilling aspect. It happens often with my baby boy who's just turned one and is weaning from bottles to sippy cups. I reached out to Tommee Tippee with the hopes of reviewing some sippy cups that were truly spill proof!

They were happy to send me out a few sets of the Explora Truly Spill Proof Sippy Cups that were bpa free. These cups come in adorable colors, both geared towards boy or girl colors and come with kid friendly designs on them.

Some of my favorite features about the Tommee Tippee Explora truly spill proof sippy cups are the grippers on the sides. This helps baby or toddler easily grip the cup without dropping it. I also love, love, love that this sippy cup offers a hygiene cap! It remains attached to the cup and even has a place to pull it back and store it while baby sips and then you can simply place it back on.

I was impressed that baby boy was able to knock it over several times while drinking playing with the sippy cup and it worked as stated, it was spill-proof. However when he turned it completely upside down that was another story. There was a bit of water droplets on the high chair, but I think that would happen with most any sippy cup. Needless to say we are both happy with the new sippy cups!

I also asked Tommee Tippee to throw in some feeding spoons as I have had the same ones since our older son was born. It was about time to throw those out! Working in conjunction with the Explora line, we were able to review the Explora Feeding Spoons 8 pack which are also bpa free. Some other great benefits of the Explora feeding spoons are the easi grip handles for your little ones hands, soft tip for tender gums and the deep bowl spoon which helps keep the food on the spoon.

Here's my lil guy chowing down on some applesauce with the new Tommee Tippee Explora feeding spoons! Notice, he wouldn't let his new sippy cup go! The feeding spoons are available at Bru or Tru for right around $4. Not bad at all for 8 spoons.
