Give Your Shower An Upgrade With A Delta In2ition Handshower {Review}

Delta Logo

Unfortunately when my Husband and I were ready to purchase our first home the market was at its peak. We were unable to afford a new home so we purchased a 15+ year home and decided to fix it up. The first things to go were the awful paint color choices that the previous homeowners enjoyed, like "bright as the sun" yellow, hot pink bathrooms and a bright teal exterior paint. I'm not making this up people!

Another thing that was an absolute must before moving in were the blue carpets (which clearly did not go with their color choices). We chose laminate hardwood floors as a replacement and our paint color choices were much more modest. We slowly changed out the old kitchen appliances and upgraded the master bath. My husband purchased a new showerhead for our bathroom, but the kids bathroom remained the same, until now....

I reached out to Delta Faucet, who is a top contender in kitchen & bath appliances with the intention of replacing the boys standard showerhead. Delta graciously sent us the Classic In2ition Two-in-One Shower Arm in Chrome. When the box arrived and I took out, I have to say I was envious. This showerhead was way better than the kids current one, but it was also an upgrade from the one we purchased for our bathroom a few years ago.

I gave my Husband a "look" (you know the one I'm talking about). And he thankfully agreed that our bathroom needed the new Classic In2ition Two-in-One Shower Arm and the boys bath would be replaced with our current showerhead.

Some of the great features that come along with this Delta In2ition Handshower are:

  • 5 spray settings (Full body spray, Fast massage, Full spray with massage, Pause & Slow massage

  • Shower arm mounting

  • 60″ - 82″ stretchable metal hose

  • Lifetime Faucet and Finish Warranty

  • I love that the Delta Classic In2ition Two-in One offers the option of using the integrated showerhead and handshower together, giving you the flexibility of two streams of water at once. Or you may be use either option separately. (The first picture shows the option of just using the integrated showerhead, the second picture offers the shower arm option which is removable and the third picture reflects when you use both simultaneously).

One thing that drove me nuts about our old showerhead was that when I turned the water on, the arm would twist and spray cold water on me. I quickly learned to jump out of the way, but that was just annoying to deal with. The arm should have remained in place if it had been a better quality holder. I am thrilled to report that the Delta In2ition Shower arm does not do that! The arm stays in tact which has partly to do with the outer shower rim that's offered with this showerhead.

Another feature that I like is that when you are returning the shower arm to the base it has a security lip at the top so that it locks into place and does not fall off. Have you ever had one of those fall on your toe? Ouch!!

    Classic In2ition

I like the amount of water pressure and range that is offered with the Delta Faucet In2ition Shower arm. It keeps me much warmer in the shower than our old showerhead. It's definitely the upgrade we were looking for!

If you have been dreaming of updating your bathroom, I highly recommend the Delta Classic In2ition Two-in-One Shower arm for your next purchase! Amazon currently has this model knocked down from $200 to $101.88! It's offered in three different finishes; Chrome, Venetian bronze and Stainless and you can't beat the lifetime warranty!

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received a In2ition Showerhead at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.

We have a Delta faucet similar to this is our bathroom and our son always wants to take a shower in our bathroom. I wonder why. LOL. Looks like you are really enjoying your new shower head. Thanks for sharing.

It sure does look nice. My existing shower head does the job but seeing this makes me hope mine breaks down soon :D

No, the shower head always falls on my head and it hurts really bad! This looks awesome though! It's so nice that it has that locking feature. :D

I love how big and shiny it is. I would probably keep it on the setting that uses both sprayers. We definitely keep an upgrade so I'll be checking this one out

The security latch is really nice, I have had one of those fall on my foot and it didn't feel good! Looks like you get a great stream of water from it too.

I love how that one looks. Ours can use an upgrade, but it works pretty good for how long we have had it.
