When a unit is deployed overseas, they are usually gone for a very long stretch of time. During that time, they miss so many life events while they are gone. They sacrifice so much of their lives to protect ours. Could you imagine missing the birth of your child? Many times, deployed servicemen do. When they come home and after the excitement of the homecoming wears off, they often fight a different battle...
I have watched that video several times now, and every time I do, it brings tears to my eyes. With military divorces on the rise the way they are, I feel like we owe it to these military couples to help them in any way we can. It only takes a $10 donation (via text message) to help a military couple attend an event showcasing The Art of Marriage. To find out more about how you can help, visit The Art of Marriage Ops on the web.
