Spring has sprung, and Easter is less than a month away! For some reason, we haven't done much for Easter in years past, and I want to change that this year. We always do an egg hunt for the kids, and we usually visit the Easter bunny at the mall, but this year I want to do more. I definitely want to color eggs, since this is something my kids have yet to experience.
This year, I would also like to do a little bit of Easter decorating. Thanks to Gemmy, our first Easter decoration went up this weekend in the form of a giant 7' Airblown Inflatable Easter Bunny. I can't think of any better Easter decoration than to have the Easter Bunny himself greeting us when we come home every day!
Celebrate Easter with the delightful Airblown Inflatable Easter Bunny by Gemmy! He's all dressed up, with a colorful bow tie and vest, ready to greet friends and family for a festive time. What's more, this most famous bunny of all is weather-resistant and self-inflates in seconds. And when Easter is over, he quickly deflates for easy storage.
Set up of this adorable bunny was simple. We removed it from the box and positioned him where we wanted in our yard, which of course was right in front of our house, and attached the plastic legs.
Once we had the bunny in place, we pushed the base stakes through the plastic legs and into the ground.
We then watched the Easter Bunny come to life. Once he was plugged in, he self-inflated in a matter of seconds.
Apparently we didn't have him positioned quite perfect, because he ended up a little sideways. He was easy to move though. We just popped the stakes up and turned him, and re-inserted the base stakes.
Once he was straightened out, we connected the nylon tethers to the loops on the sides of the bunny, attached the tethers, and then inserted the tethers into the ground. It was a little difficult to drive the tether stakes into the ground, so Brian used a hammer. Unfortunately, one of the stakes ended up bent.
The bent stake ended up being a non-issue, because Brian only used two of the tether stakes with one on each side. (The directions show using two on each side, but using only one worked fine for us.)
Rylie and Bryce were so excited to see the Airblown Easter Bunny in our front yard! They couldn't stop hugging him!
This gigantic bunny is not only a great decoration during the bright spring days, but he will light up your yard at night too!
What a fun decoration to have! Our Easter Bunny has already gotten my family into the spirit of Easter, and will likely have all of my neighbors joining in soon also!
The Airblown Inflatable Easter Bunny is available exclusively at all Walmart stores and Walmart.com for $45.97. Now come on, you know you want one! Visit Gemmy online to see their full collection of Easter decorations.
