Cute Clothes For Kids From Hartstrings #MyHartstrings #CBias

I love shopping for clothes for my kids. Honestly, it is kind of an obsession of mine. Rylie and Bryce both have closets full of clothes, while I wear the same five outfits every week. It is so much easier to shop for them since everything looks so cute on them.

I thought I knew about all of the great stores that sold cute clothes for kids, but up until last weekend, I didn't know about Hartstrings! Hartstrings was founded in 1979 as an "upscale girls' lifestyle brand", and in 1986, Hartstrings Boys was introduced. Hartstrings produces a wide variety of high-quality clothes that includes everything from bathing suits to special occasion wear for both boys and girls.

When I first looked around on Hartstrings.com, my kids were already in bed for the night. I have to let Rylie pick out her own clothes, or she generally won't wear them, so I knew I wanted her to have the final selection before I made a purchase. I decided to look through all of the adorable clothes and pin some of the outfits I liked on to my "Cute Clothes for Kids" Pinterest board.

The first item that caught my eye was this adorable bathing suit. Rylie is a bathing suit NUT and I knew this would be her top pick.

I then looked at the different dresses. Hartstrings has several super fancy dresses, and then some more casual dresses for every day wear. I quickly pinned these two as my favorites.

Rylie is very picky about her clothes and won't wear anything that isn't soft and comfortable, so I looked around for a skirt and t-shirt type outfit. I saw this flower print and thought it would be perfect for her!

I had Rylie look at all of the pretty clothes on Hartstrings.com after breakfast the next day, and as I suspected, she went crazy over that cute tankini bathing suit. When it came time to pick out an outfit, though, I was reminded that we have different tastes in clothes. While the one she picked out wasn't necessarily one of my favorites, I know better than to purchase something that she doesn't pick out because she won't wear it. So I added the bathing suit to my cart, along with this shirt and skort from the "Navy Club" line.

The clothes for boys were just as cute as the girls' clothes. A lot of them were very dressy, though, so I looked around for a couple of casual outfits for Bryce. The first one I saw was this adorable polo with a gator on it, with plaid shorts to match. I love the little plaid shorts on little boys!

I was drawn to the "Seven Seas" line and this comfortable, cute outfit, which was ultimately the one I purchased.

Now, I have to say that at first, I thought the prices were a little higher than I generally pay for the kids' clothes. There were several items on sale, but most of them were long sleeved shirts and pants, which we definitely don't need right now in Florida, and we probably won't have much need for them again until next winter. I did have a promo code for 20% off, so that made my total a little more bearable. I have no problem paying a little more for high-quality clothes, but since I had no experience with Hartstrings, I had no idea what I would really be getting for my money.

That said, I added the five items to my cart and went through the checkout process. It was very simple to add my discount code and review my order. I did have an issue when I completed my purchase and the site froze up, but once I made sure my purchase did not go through, I tried it again and it worked fine. I placed my order on Saturday morning and it arrived on Wednesday morning. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my order arrived!

So what do we think of the clothes? We LOVE them! I was honestly amazed at how much I liked the outfits I purchased for the kids. As soon as I opened the package I could tell that they were very high quality. Even though I didn't love the outfit that Rylie picked out when we were shopping online, my thoughts about it changed as soon as she put it on. It is absolutely adorable! She was a great little model too. The girl had all kinds of poses for me!

Rylie normally wears a size 4 in tops and a 3 in bottoms, so those are the sizes I purchased in this outfit. It fits her perfectly! It is super comfortable and she immediately asked if she could wear it to school tomorrow.

I had her try on the outfit first, because I knew once the bathing suit was on, it wasn't coming off. The bathing suit fit her almost perfectly, and it has a little room to grow throughout the summer. She LOVES it!

After Bryce saw Rylie's little fashion show, he was ready to try on his new outfit. The picture on the website made the shorts look very brown, but they were mainly blue, along with the neckband on the shirt. That was fine with me, though. I actually liked the blue better. It looks so cute on him!

He normally wears a 2T top and 18-24 month bottoms because of his skinny waist and short legs, so I purchased his clothes accordingly. The shorts had an adjustable waist which had to be cinched up a little bit, and once that was done, they fit him perfectly. The shirt is a little bit big, but I think a size smaller would have been too short.
