4 Moms Origami Stroller {Review}

4moms logo

Have you caught a glimpse into the future? The future of strollers, that is. 4moms Origami stroller has been featured everywhere since its release in early January of this year. This amazing stroller has been all over the media including CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Us Weekly....and even Kourtney Kardashian is sporting one around town!

Before its release last month 4moms gave their fans an opportunity to win one. Through their website, fans were able to enter once a day for 30 days at a chance to win 1 of 30 Origami's! I was the 25th winner!! I could not believe my eyes when I saw the facebook post and email from 4moms saying that I had won this fabulous; out of this world stroller! I think I jumped up and down like a kid for almost an hour. My two sons aged 3 and 1 were looking at me strangely wondering what on earth their Momma was doing. LOL!

Why am I so crazy over this stroller? Let me share with you some of the amazing features of the Origami stroller by 4moms:

The Origami is the first ever power folding stroller! You simply press a button and it opens and closes for you. No more closing fighting strollers.

The Origami is self-charging. It has generators in it's rear wheels that charge the Origami as you walk and it can even charge your cell phone if you purchase the optional cell phone charging kit.

This bad boy also features a LCD screen with back light that is attached to the handlebars. It includes the battery life, temperature, trip odometer, child indicator and speed.

The Origami is quite elegant! With four legs (including track lights) and a central pod that support a single handle bar and telescoping seat ring, the design of the Origami is as innovative as its features.

Now do you get why I am SO excited?! Living on one income (that being a Teacher's salary) my family would not be able to afford something quite so luxurious. All of the wonderful benefits of the Origami have made my life easier. And my baby boy is riding in style! We get stopped quite often by other Moms who either recognize the Origami or want to know more about the stroller. Two minor cons (that do not outweigh the pros) are the small undercarriage compartments. I'm used to the big baskets for fitting my enormous baby bags & the other is it's top heavy I think due to the generators in the wheels. I still love the Origami anyway and wouldn't give it up!

4moms has reinvented the stroller taking it to a whole new level. I love that 4moms has challenged all other stroller companies to re-evaluate the "norm". The Origami is an amazing stroller and is just begging to be welcomed into your home.

This looked even more gorgeous in person. One thing I didn't care for was the TINY basket though. I definitely need a ton of storage space for my strollers

I agree the undercarriage is small compared to other strollers. It does have a 2nd (even smaller) one attached to the underside of the seat that allows for a bottle and few other things.

I would love to see this stroller in person to test out. It is WAY more then I would ever spend a stroller though.
