Goosie Cards Personalized Flash Cards {Review & Giveaway}

Goosie Cards

I am very pleased to share with our readers a new approach to your everyday flashcards! Goosie Cards are personalized flashcards that you create with your personal photos and text to teach your child about the world around them. Goosiecards.com turns your personal photos into flashcards so you can teach your child about the faces and places they know best…because they are all about you and your family. You can create personalized flashcards to teach, play or to help with special needs.

And it’s fun and easy to make with the easy-to-use “creativity shop” available through Walgreens Photo Center
1. Choose a collection
2. Select your photos
3. Design your flashcards

There are 2 flashcard collections you can create.  Both flashcard collections feature one photo, 5 lines of text and they are safe, durable and big for little hands to hold (4 ¼” x 7 ½”).

Signature Collection- starting at $27.99 per 10 card set
Everyday Collection- starting at $19.99 per 10 card set

Jennifer Marchetti, the creator and founder of Goosie Cards offered a 10 card set of the Signature Collection for me to review. I can not begin to tell you how easy it was to complete the 3 simple steps for our personalized flashcards! I chose to upload some personal photos, but to also incorporate some of the free photos available on Goosiecards.com. I love that you can mix it up! I also thought it was a nice added touch to have the option of pre-punched holes so that I could easily string the cards together. The site is very user friendly and offers flashcard ideas and helpful teaching tips. Everything is right at your finger tips!

Flashcards

After a few short days I had the durable laminated flashcards in my hands to use with my baby boy. He loved seeing pictures of his Mommy, Daddy & Big Brother! It's a wonderful learning tool (and makes a great teething toy for baby's gums, per my lil guy). I like that he was able to hold them and play with them unlike other flashcards that can easily tear and crumple over time. One thing I would love to see Goosie Cards implement in the future is the option to utilize both sides of the laminate flashcard. I'm all about getting the best bang for my buck and I think this option would bring double the fun!

Goosie Cards has been recognized on many levels, including Creative Child Magazine 2008 Product of the Year, 5 stars at AblePlay, acknowledged as the market leader for custom flashcards on CNBC and numerous other national telelvision networks! They have also had a overwhelming response from teachers, parents and medical professionals in the autism community.

I would highly recommend Goosie Cards flashcards to any parent, grandparent or teacher!
