Prevent The Spread Of Germs With Wet Ones {Review & Giveaway}
Have your kids started back to school yet? If not, they will be going back soon. With the start of back-to-school season, do you worry about your kids getting sick? According to a recent survey of parents conducted by Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes, about half are worried about their children getting sick and about one-third are concerned about their children being exposed to germs.
We all know that hand washing is one of he best ways to prevent the spread of germs. Fun Day At Downtown Disney
We had another crazy busy weekend this past weekend! It seems like most of our weekends are of that variety these days.
Bryce was home with Mama all last week recovering from his surgery and is doing very well! That little guy is one tough cookie, and other than diaper changes, you would not know anything had ever happened to him. Mama took the kids to see Smurfs on Friday, and Bryce did very well at his first movie! He loved it!
We were invited to a screening of Lion King 3D on Saturday, and even though Bryce did well at the Smurfs, I knew that he wouldn't want to wear the 3D glasses. Since we had 4 tickets, Brian and I let Rylie invite a friend, and her buddy Cole came with us. The movie was at Downtown Disney, so we headed out early Saturday morning. The kids were so excited to spend the day together!

Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap System {Review & Giveaway}
It's time to go back to school! Or should I say, back to the germ pits? My kids are in pre-school and go year round right now, and every day I feel like I send them into a big ole petri dish.
Hand washing is one of the most important steps you can take to keep your family healthy. I have tried to teach that lesson to my children since they had enough coordination to rub their hands together and put them under the faucet. Rylie now knows that if she goes in the bathroom, she has to wash her hands before she comes out. We always wash our hands before we eat too. We don't want those nasty germs to get on our food!

Kid-Friendly Interior Decorating
We all know that having children changes your life. "Sleeping in" now means 8:00 AM, when before it meant noon. The only hot meal you get is the one you microwaved after it sat on the table for an hour while you fed your baby who decided to wake up right when dinner was ready. Your lazy weekend afternoons of catching up on TV shows or housework have turned into mad rushes out of the house to get to a playdate or a birthday party. Shall I continue?
Before you have kids, and even shortly after they are born, you don't fully realize just how many changes you will have to make. Take interior decorating, for example. Once you have mobile toddlers, the house that you worked so hard to make warm and inviting seems to morph into something out of a Dr. Seuss book.
Maybe you had a nice accent chair or two?
You might as well just replace those with a jungle gym, because that is what your kids will use them for. That soft, light-colored fabric will soon be a sticky, multicolored mess. Your nice accent chairs will then be replaced with something like these...
Let's talk dining tables for a minute. I still have yet to figure out what kind of dining table is "safe" for those of us with little ones running around. Forget about having a nice glass top dining table. That is just a disaster waiting to happen. Fingerprints are now the least of your concerns with that...at the top of your list is making sure your child doesn't learn how to throw when you're not looking. Trust me, cleaning up shattered glass is no fun. Wood is a safer alternative, but what happens when that cup of juice that your sweet little toddler set up there wasn't quite flat when they took their tiny little hands off of it? Unless, of course, you like the unique design that warped wood will provide you with.
And finally, I'll quickly mention all of those knick-knacks, picture frames and glass vases that finish off a room. Put them up high. Very high. It is amazing how a two year old can stack up enough stools and chairs to reach pretty things. Do they care that they have a room full of toys? Nope. They want to smell those pretty flowers that mommy has purposely placed out of their reach. Well, at least she thought she did.

Make Breakfast Better With Land O'Lakes Cinnamon Sugar Butter {Review & Giveaway}
I have always loved to go to restaurants that serve warm rolls with a side of cinnamon sugar butter. It is one of those things that I enjoy at restaurants, but never think to look for at the grocery store. When I heard about the new Land O'Lakes Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread, I knew I wanted to try it.
When I received the Cinnamon Sugar Butter, I figured we would just spread it on some toast and give it a try. I received some information with the butter which led me to the Land O'Lakes website, and I realized just how versatile this butter is. Not only can you spread it on toast for breakfast, but you can also use it in great side dishes and even desserts!
The Cinnamon Sugar Butter is all-natural, containing only cream, sugar, canola oil, water, cinnamon, salt, and citric acid. I feel good about feeding my family natural products without a bunch of artificial ingredients.
We decided to make our breakfast better with this new spread. We made some toast and topped it with the Cinnamon Sugar Butter, and then sliced some bananas and drizzled a little honey on them. The kids at every bite of their breakfast! They LOVED the toast with the Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread.
There are several recipes on the Land O'Lakes website that can be made with this new spread, so we decided to try one of them.We needed a quick dinner idea one evening, and we made the Cinnamon Apple Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. They were soooo good! I never would have thought to put apples on a grilled cheese sandwich. How clever! The mixture of the cinnamon, apples and cheese was such a great combination. Rylie was also a huge fan!
Just in case you can't already tell, we highly recommend this new Land O'Lakes Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread! Make sure you add this to your next shopping list so you can give it a try. I think you will find that it makes breakfast better, along with many other meals.

Hi, I'm Terri, and I just have to tell you I am thrilled to be here today! Thank you so much, LeeAnn, for the opportunity! I love crafting and have a little craft blog that I so much enjoy! My family is so used to me that they just accept Mom and Grandma always making something!
Because of the 5 awesome grandchildren I have, I love making kids crafts like these.
But I have a hard time throwing anything away, so every now and then, I come up with projects for the rest of the family!
Today, I'm going to show you how I made this.
I take care of my little 3 year old granddaughter during the day and she always has to have something in her hand when we go anywhere. Can I tell you how many melted crayons there are in my car?!! We needed a fix for this!
I took a Spam can (please don't judge) and glued a ribbon from the bottom up and over the top.
Then I modge podged paper around the sides.
I found this cute little composition book (4") at the Dollar Store. Gotta love that place.
Put the same paper and ribbon on it as the container.
There you go! Tierni is happy in the backseat with her crayons and book to color in on our way to Hobby Lobby!
