Back in November I learned about Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches. Since then, they have become a staple in our house. I originally thought that they would make a quick dinner idea for the kids, but they weren't huge fans. They would rather have the Fun Nuggets or Chicken Tenders. I, on the other hand, have been eating them ever since! One day last week I noticed that there were no more in our freezer, so we headed out to Walmart to get some more.
Not only did I need more Mini Chicken Sandwiches, we also needed some birthday presents and toys for a toy drive at the kids' school. The kids behaved so well during this shopping trip, even though they acted like complete goofballs at times! Bryce was given a candy cane by one of the nice Walmart associates, which made me regret leaving our diaper bag in the car. We definitely needed some wet wipes for the aftermath!
We shopped for all of our non-food items first, and then finally made our way to the grocery section to get our Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches. It was a good thing we got there when we did, because there were only three boxes left!

Now through January 13th, when you buy two boxes of Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches, you will receive a $5 Walmart gift card! I grabbed the last two boxes of the sandwiches with cheese, which my goofball daughter was very excited about for some reason.
I was pretty excited too! These little sandwiches have become my favorite food lately. I usually take them to work with me for lunch, but this time I was thinking about how yummy they would be for breakfast. My husband's favorite breakfast is a chicken, egg and cheese biscuit from Chick-Fil-A, so I got the idea that we could make a similar breakfast at home. That way we would save money, and could have breakfast in our PJs, rather than having to leave the house.
This morning was a busy morning for us, like most weekend mornings are. We always have a to-do list a mile long on the weekends, and this weekend we added two birthday parties to the mix. After today's birthday party, we also had some final Christmas shopping to do and would be out for most of the afternoon. I thought my chicken, egg and cheese sandwich would be a great, hearty breakfast that would keep us full for a while.
The Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches are so easy to prepare! You simply place them in the microwave in the wrapper for 50 seconds, and then turn them over and heat them for another 40 seconds. That is all there is to it!
While the sandwiches were in the microwave, my husband fried an egg. Once the egg was done, he added it to the Mini Chicken Sandwiches, and breakfast was ready!
Yum! This was such a great idea!
If you haven't tried these Mini Chicken Sandwiches yet, you simply must! They are great for lunch, dinner, snacks, and now, even breakfast! To find a Walmart near you that carries them, visit www.tysongoodness.com.
