Hot Holiday Toys From BJ's Wholesale Club {Review}

BJ's Wholesale Club

I am so proud of myself this year! I usually wait until the last minute to get my Christmas shopping done, and have been known as one of those frantic people racing around the mall on Christmas Eve trying to get everything I need before they close. But not this year. I am almost completely done with my shopping, and will have the rest of it done this weekend. Well, that is the plan, at least.

Last week I posted a question asking you how you all keep things fair for siblings on Christmas, and it seemed like the general consensus was to make sure that each child had the same number of presents to open, with the exception being older children who may want more expensive gifts. That said, Rylie has a few more presents than Bryce does at this time, so I need to pick up a couple little things for him, just to keep it "fair".

When I shop for toys during the holidays, I have a few stores that are my go-to stores. One store that I never thought to shop at was BJ's Wholesale Club. I recently learned that BJ's has a ton of this season's hot toys available, all at low prices. They even have a Toy Catalog to showcase all of the great toys they carry!

I took some time to peruse BJ's 2011 Toy Catalog, and there are over 20 pages packed with toys! They have toys for toddlers, toys for pre-schoolers, craft kits, dolls, educational toys, cars, trucks, building sets, video games, musical instruments, outdoor toys, books, games and so much more! I'm sure if I would have given Rylie a marker and told her to circle the toys she wanted, she would have circled all of them, but I know she would like things like the Doodle Bear Gift Set and the pack of Dress Up Shoes.

As I mentioned, though, Rylie currently has more presents than Bryce, so when I was deciding which of these great toys I wanted under my tree this year, I knew I wanted to get something for him. Bryce is really starting to enjoy educational toys like the LeapFrog Count & Draw, and of course he would love his favorite race car Lightning McQueen.

I ultimately decided on the Zip-Bin Dinosaur Toy Box and Play Mat. Bryce is fascinated by dinosaurs lately, so I knew it would be perfect for him!

Dinosaur Toybox Playmat

This toy box is great for kids to carry their favorite dinosaurs around in, and when it is play time, in unzips to become a dinosaur island play mat. It comes with three realistic looking dinosaurs to play on the island. These aren't tiny little toys, either. The dinosaurs are big enough to really play with, and are high quality! I think it is great that it is self-contained, and when play time is over, it becomes a decent-sized bin to store the dinosaurs in.

Bryce is going to love Santa for sure when he unwraps this awesome toy on Christmas morning!

If you are like me and still have some shopping to do, you should definitely check out BJ's 2011 Toy Catalog. I think you will find that there is something for everyone on your list, at prices that fit your budget. If you are not a current BJ's member, you can give it a try with a FREE 60-Day Trial Membership. If you have ever considered joining a wholesale club, now is the perfect time to check it out!

Disclosure: All opinions are my own. I received the Zip-Bin Dinosaur Toy Box and Play Mat at no cost for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.
