The act of getting dressed on a daily basis involves coordination. Well, at least it should. Granted there are some people that just throw on whatever is at the top of their drawer whether it goes together well or not, but most people like for their clothes to match. We put on a shirt that matches our pants, and then select shoes and socks that match also. The same goes with accessories. You wouldn't put on a pair of hot pink earrings with a dark blue business suit. Or would you?

A watch is probably the most worn accessory. I don't know about you all, but with my busy life, I always need to know what time it is. I only own one watch, so I wear it whether it coordinates with my outfit or not. It has a bluish-purple face, so more often than not, it doesn't "go". I have always thought that it would be nice to be able to change out that face.

When you purchase a Modify Watch, you don't purchase just a plain ole watch. Instead, you purchase interchangeable faces and straps that you can customize to create a perfectly coordinated accessory. You can purchase a large starter kit that comes with three straps and two faces, a small starter kit that comes with two straps and one face, or you can build your own watch by choosing multiple straps and faces. The possibilities are endless!

We were given the opportunity to review one of these fun watches. My husband selected the black strap, and blue and yellow faces. Yes, sometimes even men like to be a little bold.

The first combination Brian tried out was the black strap with the yellow face. I loved how the yellow stood out against the black. The watch was definitely cool! Then he followed the "six steps to modify" to change out the face to the blue...

The modification was very simple. The thick, silicone band stretched easily to remove the yellow face and insert the blue face, and formed a nice seal around the face. This is a good quality band that does not seem like it will lose it's shape, even after repeated stretching.

Now for the sixth step, strutting his stuff...

Modify Watches are definitely a great idea, and my husband wears his all the time. While the Modify Watch is said to be an "ambiwatch" and made for men or women, the straps and faces are just a little large for my tiny wrists. I would certainly wear a smaller Modify Watch if they decide to make some in the future. (hint, hint)

The straps and faces of the Modify Watches are good quality. They are not waterproof, but they are splash proof and you can get them wet. If you do get your Modify Watch wet, you should take the face out of the strap and let it dry completely before putting back in. My husband likes that you can remove the face of the watch to clean the strap if you do happen to get sweaty.

The prices of the different watch pieces are reasonable, since you can essentially create several different watches with just a few pieces. The starter kits are $85 for the large, and $55 for the small. If you want to build your own set, the first face is $25, and then $20 for each additional, and the first strap is $20 and then $10 for each additional. These Modify Watches would make a fun Christmas gift for anyone who loves to accessorize!
