Before I had kids (and a blog!) I was organized. My house was neat and everything had it's place, and I liked it that way. These days, my life can only be described as an unorganized mess. Most days I don't know if I'm coming or going. Often times I will think of something we need, and by the time we get to the store, I have forgotten what it was.
Organizher by Mead makes it easy for busy moms like me to get it together with their collection of functional, flexible, fashionable products for modern women with busy households. The Organizher line of products are solutions for expense tracking, meal planning, scheduling, note-taking and more.
I recently received a variety of Organizher products to review: Write 'n Wipe - Monthly, Write 'n Wipe - Message Center, Art Keeper, On-the-Go Family Planner and Expense Tracker.
Write 'n Wipe - Monthly
Description: Magnetic dry erase board featuring the Organizher Monthly grid with "Mine", "Theirs" and "Meals" sections.
Features:
* Undated monthly grid
* Magnets
* Dry erase pen with eraser
SRP: $7.99
Write 'n Wipe - Message Center
Description: Magnetic dry erase board featuring "Mine", "Theirs" and "Notes" sections for communicating notes and messages.
Features:
* Magnets
* Dry erase pen with eraser
SRP: $4.99
The two Write 'n Wipe products I received are my favorites, and are used often. I have both of them up on my refrigerator. The calendar is great because there is a line for each person in the family, so you can easily tell who has a doctor's appointment, or a birthday party, or whatever else might be keeping us busy that day. There is a line for "All" for events that involve the whole family, and even a line to write down your meals for that day.
The Message Center is also used often. When I see that we are out of something, I can quickly add it to the "Store" list so I don't forget about it. I pretty much add anything I need to do on this when I think about it, so that I don't forget it. I'm sure most of you moms know what happens to our memories once we have kids, so I need something like this to jot down my thoughts as I think of them.
The only drawback to these two products is the marker. It is really too thick and I wish it was thinner. It is hard to write a lot in the small squares on the calendar with the marker that is included. I plan on replacing it with a marker with a thinner tip.
Art Keeper
Description: Structural box with separate lid allows Mom to fit even odd-shaped artwork. Bookplate allows for labeling by name, age or grade. Designed to fit in with home decor.
Features:
* Bookplate for labeling
* Separate lid
* Large size can contain odd-shaped artwork
SRP: $14.99
My kids are always bringing home "artwork" from school. As much as I would like to keep every single one of their beautiful pieces of art, there just isn't room for it all. We usually keep things that they did by themselves, such as Rylie practicing writing her name, or anything with a hand print, footprint, etc. Up until now, all of these papers have been in a pile on my desk.
I really like this great storage solution, and will definitely be buying more. It is big enough to store all of the different sized artwork the kids bring home, but small enough so you can store it year by year, and label it as such.
On-the-Go Family Planner
Description: Portable tabbed planner featuring the Organizher weekly grid with "Mine", "Theirs" and "Meals" sections.
Features:
* Monthly tabs
* Undated weekly fill
* Repositionable bookmark
* Section for keeping important info
SRP: $9.99
If you like to carry around a planner, this is definitely the right product for you. It includes tabs for each month, and in between those tabs are sections where you can jot down events in a monthly view, along with bullets for "to-do" lists, and a section for projects. It also contains weekly views with different lines for the members of your family. You can click on the photos below to see the detail on the different pages.
Expense Tracker
Description: Tech Lock organizer featuring expense tracking sheets, budget setting sheets and 12 monthly folders to store bills and receipts.
Features:
* Tech Lock technology
* Expense tracking fill
* Guided fill to help set a budget
* 12 undated monthly folders
* 2 clear poly folders
SRP: $14.99
Would you believe that even though I'm an accountant, I don't have much to do with our family finances? It's true. Brian took all of that over shortly after we got together, and he has been handling that ever since. If I did, though, this Expense Tracker would be a great way to organize expenses and keep a budget. There are pockets for receipts and bills, and a ledgers to record checks and other payments. Click on the pictures below to see the detail of each section.

•Fight your natural instincts to “pile.” All piling does is stack clutter on top of clutter! Yes, it’s a quick and easy means of clearing space; but if you wouldn’t want a work supervisor to see it, then that should tell you it has to go!

Wow - I am a huge "piler" of mailso the hint about filing right away was great. I do actually have files made for the different items, they just start out piled before I get around to filing them. With the "Real Simple File Tote", I could file things immediately. When company comes I just grab the tote and hide it!
