My tip is to shop the cyber sales from home!
Make lists and plan out your store strategy!
We're all about Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping online. Last year we got some great online deals and never had to leave the house.
My tip is to shop online using online coupon codes
elena150980@yahoo.com
Shop online then hit the stores a few hours after opening. I'm not much for crowds, though ;)
The deals on Black Friday don't seem to be as good as the after christmas sales anymore, so instead of fighting the crowds, head to a drugstore or the such, and rack up the freebies (like the rolling RR's at Walgreens)! ;-)
The best thing we did last yr was purchase the bf items a week in advance, then return on the day of and get your difference back! Sure you gotta wait in line, but not nearly as long since you're only going straight to the register!
I do not like going on Black Friday or that weekend. Things are wiped out after.
kristybodle@hotmail.com
My mom and I split up so we can cover more of the store that way...LOL ;)
Make lists for each of the stores. Remember hours of the sale. Cheryl cjabdelnour@hotmail.com
I'm not an expert at it, but I found it easiest to make a game plan. Take the ads with you, make a list, and make yourself a map of where you'll go in order.
You also need to know your priorities and the store opening times and plan accordingly.
shop online, use coupon code and go through cash back sites.
tcarolinep at gmail dot com
Do as much research as posible before you leave your house. Make a plan of what stores to hit first and what you are getting where!
I go early and bring my sale flyers with me
My tip is to wear comfortable shoes! The last time I shopped all day my feet were killing me.
I just try to really watch what I am spending, and have a general amount for each person I want to spend.
Use sights like bfads.net and blackfriday.info so you know exactly what you want from each store well before the "exiting" phase of the week of Black Friday when all the ads come. You won't feel rushed to make your plan and miss stuff or overbuy!
omgababy at gmail
Review the ads and prioritize your store visits accordingly or just shop online ;)
mummytotwoboys@yahoo.com
Send the older kids out to tackle the shopping and stay home sipping a nice cup of joe. lol
-- Chelsea Saulpaugh
wear boots so when the person behind you runs over your ankles it wont hurt that bad :-). Also, know what you want before you leave
My Black Friday tip: stay home. It's not worth the hassle. Thanks for the giveaway!
Shop at places like Walmart, Target or Aafes that price match and do all your shopping one place :)
I shop on line, save my time. Time is money. :)
merleandtina@yahoo.com
My tip is to make a list of the items you really want most from the ads and stay away from the unnecessary items. Thanks!

Accidently put my Fb share in the tweet share box. Sorry about that!
Here is what should have gone in the box:

Save those reciepts-don't loose in the shuffle! You may indeed find even better prices after Black Friday or at Cyber Monday sales and may want to return items at price you thought were good!
My tip is to make a list and hold on to your receipts! Thanks so much for the fantastic giveaway!

My best tip is to delegate items from your shopping to list to other family members if you can, so you can hit various stores or departments of the same store simultaneously. And when I can't do that, my next strategy is to get to my first store as early as I can but park at the far end of the lot near the exit so I can make a quick getaway to get to the next store!

Things tend to get a little crazy, so just be very patient and you will survive Black Friday.
jmesparza821(at)gmail(dot)com
Get in line early and bring a friend! Someone can get the hot chocolate while you freeze for hours :D
Research the sale papers and the online sites. Map out where you are going. Go to bed early so that you can wake up early.
rhoneygtn at yahoo dot com
wear comfortable shoes
jofo120 at yahoo dot com
I check out the ads then see if the items will be available online. If what I want can be purchased online, I do that instead of heading out in the crowds.
Study the ads carefully and map out a plan. Focus on what is important and don't get distracted.
I scour the Amazon deals - less fuss and, with Prime, I don't fret over shipping!
not.a.ship(at)gmail.com
I like to go through all the adds and also do price shopping online. I find that most times I can do better online with using discount codes that may be available for that store.
Thanks so much.

Beat the Crowds with Night Owl Discounts on Thanksgiving dguillen at kc dot rr dot com
My best Black Friday tip is to either shop online or send my boyfriend into it. XD
get the emails of all the sales then create a map of what is on special at what time. Then you know exactly where/when to go so you don't waste time.
Write down where you want to go, what time the store opens and where in the store you need to go, then plan accordingly amongst the stores you need to go to.
alsatia23 at hotmail dot com
Stay home and shop online. You can see reviews and the prices are comparable or even better. Some stores have online only specials.
Black Friday tip: stay home and shop online
mjfitton2003@yahoo.com
Always check sale ads and have a plan of attack. If you go out unprepared your trip probably won't be very positive and you won't score the best deals you possibly could.
demureprincess7(at)gmail(dot)com
Carpool to cut back on the crazy traffic...or stay home :-)

My best tip is to sleep in! Failing that, I love Lowe's! Tons of great deals and NO crowds!!!
sksweeps (at) earthlink (dot) net
Shop online to avoid the crowds!
Go to the store the night before and have them hold the item overnight behind the register.

Make a list, take any coupons you may need and store circulars with you, and a bag/purse you can cross over your shoulders.
SierraAspn@AOL.com (Sara Weekley)
watch the ads and make a plan
My best tip - take ready to eat snacks!
You'll need the energy.
thank you.
My tip is dress warm if you have to wait outside and have a list of what you plan on getting.
shilobeedy@gmail.com
Leave the kids at home. They'll slow you down.
My best tip is get a lot of sleep the night before and drink a lot of water to stay hydrated (it's a marathon day)

I suggest staying home and shopping online
avoid it and shop early - many places are already throwing the same sales
msboatgal at aol.com
Honestly my tip is to avoid it by shopping online -- I'm not big on crowds though :-)
marielay@gmail.com
Take a list & go with a group to split waiting in line
rachel.flavin@gmail.com
My tip is eat a good breakfast before you go, have your list ready, and get there little early babyjamesfound@gmail.com
My tip is to arrive early and have a game plan!
holliister at gmail dot com
Get to the store 10 minutes after it opens and have a game plan and list and then have fun.
choose one or two things you want, but keep it fun. realize you might not get them-- you are there for the experience, too!
hj
i make a list of the stores i definitely want to go and figure out their timelines (since black friday sales don't last for the whole day) and then prioritize. cyber monday is a great way to get deals too while beating the crowds!
My tip is to plan ahead ... decide when & where you want to shop, gather coupons and plan a route. Beyond that, don't get too vested in the items you hope to buy ... if you do, great ... if not, be flexible. Thank you for this opportunity!
reducefootprints at gmail dot com
My best Black Friday tip is to use the internet to plan your shopping for the best sales for what you want, take advantage of Walmart's price match guarantee and start early!
I just pay attention to the sales and purchase online--avoid the crowds.
Make a list of items you want to buy and do an advance search online for price comparisons. Have fun!
Anyone else not getting the GFC widget no matter how many times you refresh?
Stay home and shop online!
Shop the cyber sales at home and then if there is anything left on the list go out and get them.
Have a gameplan on which order you're going to your selected stores
rtrexel@gmail.com
last year I went with my daughter and son-in-law on Black friday to buy a coat my daughter had coupons and we got it very cheap.
It pays to go very early and bring coupons for the store you want to buy your items in, in my case Macy's.
GloriaDeal@aol.com
Have a list and dont get too caught up in "deals"
get your ads ready and go right to what's most important to you and I take my husband also to go searching for stuff elsewhere at the same time as me
pedidentalasst at yahoo dot com
I say gather all of your sales papers together and decide on what you really want. Then go to those stores as early as possible. I really say shop online though. lol thank you!
crystalfaulkner2000 at yahoo dot com
My tip is to stay home and grab the same (or sometimes better) deals online.
My best Black Friday shopping tip is to not shop on Black Friday. I know that sounds terrible, but I can't stand the craziness of the day, and the stories of people getting hurt trying to get good deals scare me. I try to be done shopping, or close to it, by the time Black Friday gets here.
My best tip is send your husband while you shop online at home!! I ended up getting a better price on a bigger tv while the one he ran to 4 stores for - was sold out!!
My tip is to carefully check out all the ads and prioritize the deals you really want to get.
heartfulloflove93 (at) gmail.com
My tip is to skip going out and check out the Cyber Friday and Cyber Monday deals. The crowds are too much for me, so shopping online is much easier.
Go early means leaving early!
Recruit Friends.
Strategize.
Make sure your fed and hydrated!
Shop the BF sales online wherever possible.
jenswps at yahoo . com
We always go later in the afternoon. You miss some of the bigger sales but the crowds have calmed considerably.
My best Black Friday shopping trip is to know what you want from a specific store before you get there, and try and take several people with you so you can split up and each get a couple things on your list.
My tip is to scan the ads the night before so you have a plan as to where to go first to get the best deals.
honeypie411 at yahoo dot com
Go early and don't drink anything if you're going to be waiting in line.
It's all about planning. I plan according to what I want most and the times the stores open. I also try to coordinate to area to save on gas too!
plaidtoaster@gmail.com
Bring water and something to snack on
dhealey123@yahoo.com
Stay at home and shop online.
My best advice for Black Friday is to shop online and avoid the rush at the stores!
My hint would be to relax & have fun with it...there will be crowds, rude people & no parking but at least you are not at work!
Thanks.
irishluck1114@yahoo.com
Kim O'Hanlon
My tip is to map it out. Prioritize, and know where you are going , what you are getting and in what order. Bringing a friend along and snacks makes life easier too.
jas8929(at)gmail(dot)com
I live in a town of 800 people, The nearest town with a pop. of 20,000+ people is 70 miles away - over a 6600ft pass on the continental divide, (Which probably got 4 feet of snow in the last couple of days The road over will close, intermittently until spring).
Our local merchants consist of a convenience store, a small grocery store, 10 bars & drinking establishments and one of those little coffee shacks that closes after the first snow.
This is great, because it allows me to sleep late on 'Black Friday" and buy all my gifts over Amazon... LOL
I prefer to do my BF shopping on Cyber Monday - online. I always go through Shop at Home or Ebates to get cash back and find coupon codes. Free shipping has also become a deal maker for me - I search high and low for free shipping deals :)
figure out what you want the most and be at that store before they open or before the time that you can actually buy.
Come prepared, set up a game plan and stick to it.
Know where you're going and what you're looking for before hitting the store. Having a game plan cuts down the stress tremendously. :-)
Katharina angelsandmusic[at]gmail[dot]com
I just shop online in my warm jammies. all the same deals, none of the fuss.
I go to bed in my clothes, roll out of bed, and head to walmart by 4:45AM. As soon as I am done, I head home and go back to bed
My best Black Friday shopping tip is do it online. If you must go, don't take the kids.
