There Is A Change In The Air

Welcome fall! The weather was so nice here this weekend! The air was a little cooler, and it was definitely dryer. We don't really have "fall" here in Central Florida, so when we do get these "cool fronts" that come through, we tend to enjoy being outdoors. We will have days like this every couple of weeks or so for the next few months, and if you have any Floridians as Facebook friends, you will definitely know when those days are by their status updates. That is pretty much all everyone was posting about this past weekend.

We had a fun weekend! We had back-to-back birthday parties on Saturday, and the kids had a great time at both of them. We were all exhausted by the time we got home, and had an early night Saturday night. Yesterday we tried to get some chores done around the house, since our to-do list keeps growing. The nice weather enticed me to get out all of the bags of "winter clothes" I have been buying for the kids and start getting them washed. Winter clothes here consist of long sleeved shirts and jeans, and maybe a jacket when it gets really cold in January and February.

You might have noticed that it has been a little slow around here. I am planning a huge holiday event with my good friend Colleen over at Shibley Smiles, and between that and life in general, I'm slacking a little bit on my blogging. You all are going to LOVE this event, though. Until then, I will be around as much as I can be. Obviously I can't let a month go by without updating you all on the latest shenanigans around my house. Like the one yesterday when Rylie spilled some of her smoothie on the kitchen floor and Chloe went over and started licking it up. Next thing I knew, there was Bryce on his hands and knees doing the same thing!!! Monkey see, monkey do, apparently doesn't just apply to humans. I'm telling you, there is always some kind of excitement going on around here.
