See this face?
Cute, right? Now really look at that picture. In fact, go ahead and click on it so you can see the full size image. I'll wait.
Did you see it? What I'm talking about is the lotion that is smeared all over her face. You see, I left the house the other night to get some snacks for the pumpkin patch and left Daddy in charge. Usually that isn't an issue. In fact, I have been known to tell people that he is the better parent. He seems to wrangle my two little mischief makers better than I do.
That wasn't the case Saturday night.
Apparently while Daddy was cleaning up the kitchen, the kids decided they had dry skin and needed some of my lotion. (Rylie is usually allowed to use my lotion, although she is supposed to ask first.) Needless to say, their faces were nice and moisturized.
But wait, it gets better...
When I was done shopping, I called Brian to let him know that I was on my way home in case he wanted to hold off on baths so I could help. He said "Good, because apparently we're going to have to go to urgent care." WHAT!?!?! I was gone for like 30 minutes. What could have possibly happened?
"Rylie stuck a sticker up her nose, and I can't find it."
Again, WHAT!?!?! She knows better. She is almost four. We had not yet made a trip to the doctor for a foreign body removal, even back when she was a toddler. Good grief. Brian saw that a pinkie-tip-sized piece was missing from a sticker, and couldn't find it anywhere else, so he had to believe her and figured it was lodged up in her nose somewhere. When I got home, Brian and Rylie took off to urgent care.
Less than an hour later Brian sent me a text telling me that they were on their way home. The nurse couldn't find the missing sticker. Rylie came home all smiles like she had just been on a fun field trip with Daddy. Only this time, she didn't get a sticker from the doctor.
So where is the missing sticker piece? We have no idea. Maybe it fell out of her nose. Maybe it went down her throat. Maybe it made it's way up her sinus cavity and is floating around in her brain. Or maybe, just maybe, she was "just kidding" about the whole thing.
She's lucky she's so cute!

Oh man! I've lost count of all the lotions that the twins have gotten in to, never the ones I'm not keen on but always the expensive 'treat' ones I just love.
She is a cutie, how on earth you get a plaster up your nose, I'm sure we will find out soon enough!
Oh goodness this is cute! Never a dull moment! :) Hang in there mommy!
Mama Hen
Better lotion than nail polish...man, Cam had that EVERYWHERE one time. I can hardly believe that adventure with the sticker! That's crazy! Never a dull moment, is there?
Awwww...now, this is a story you'll tell your future son-in-law!
Hopefully, it fell out and she didn't notice it. Moo is going through her eat everything mood. Not fun at all, especially since she has a list of allergies almost a mile long.
That's so funny! What a little stinker!
Oh goodness! She sure is cute :)
A trip to Urgent Care because of objects up the nose must be a right of passage in parenthood. I'm sure we will get to that point soon. Sigh.
Oh DANG! What a night!
Haha, that is just too funny!!
hahhah...thanks for the good laugh today...!
Oh my gosh! Just don't let her around popcorn kernels!!!!
Hugs!

Save this story for a toast at her wedding :)
God, I love that everyday is an adventure. It seems like I am not the only one that seems to always have a story....lol. I am sure the sticker fell out. I know you are a nervous Nellie, but it is not floating around in her brain :)
