Saturday Playdate - Ready Or Not

Saturday Playdate

Welcome to another fun Saturday Playdate! Today we are playing with Amy from Ready or Not. Amy's blog is "a humorous blog about teaching middle school, being a single mom to a kid with personality plus, and other random topics."

When you're done here, please check out Ready or Not and give Amy some comment love. Tell her you stopped by from the Playdate.

Ready Or Not
Welcome to Ready Or Not!
I'm Amy, a teacher and single mom who is always on the go, looking for the next adventure. Anything that I do is either a good time, or a good story~ sometimes both~ which I then blog about.
Sometimes I share recipes
Sometimes I share projects
Sometimes I share funny stories
Sometimes I share crafts
Mostly, I just love to blog about my life!
Last night, my daughter and I went out to eat and our waiter (yes, waiter!) was named Gwen Stefani.  I started cracking up over it and my daughter wanted to know who Gwen Stefani is!  Ever since my daughter was little, I have introduced her to all sorts of music.  When she was younger, we listened to Laurie Berkner, Jessica Harper and when she was about 2, I took her to her first concert, Trout Fishing in America.  Now that my daughter is 8, I really have to watch what she is listening to even closer.  In the car, we listen to books on CD or radio Disney.  When we are home, she loves to listen to Dan Zanes, Selena Gomez or kids Bop CD's.  Now, I am thinking that I should definitely break out my old No Doubt CD and teach her who Gwen Stefani is!  What kind of music are your kids into?  Do you share your music with them?

Thanks for stopping by for our Playdate! I hope you had fun! If you would like to come over for a Playdate, let me know in a comment or an email.

our daughter loves ALL music! right now, she's really into 'this is halloween' and will sing the words...she's almost 2 and it's kind of creepy to hear her sing this song from 'nightmare before christmas', but i wouldn't have it any other way. :D

Our kids know all kinds of music, too! But they do not know a waiter named Gwen Stefani!

Greet story!
