Sneak Those Veggies In With Kidfresh Meals {Review & Giveaway}

Kidfresh

We all want the best for our kids, and this includes feeding them healthy foods. Unfortunately, that is easier said than done most of the time, especially when you have picky eaters like I do. If my kids could live on chicken nuggets and cereal, they would. We try to serve a fruit or vegetable with every meal, but the veggies usually go untouched. Another issue we have with dinner time is that we don't have time during the week to prepare meals from scratch. Therefore, we eat more processed convenience foods than I would like.

Kidfresh meals have solved our dinnertime woes! With tasty dishes such as Mac and Cheese, Pasta and Meatballs, and Chicken Quesadillas, my kids are now eating healthy, nutritious dinners in less than 5 minutes!

Kidfresh Packed with Goodness

Kidfresh meals were developed by parents with the help of an award-winning chef and pediatric nutritionist. They are 100% natural with no artificial ingredients, flavors, color or preservatives. All of the meals include hidden veggies that provide key nutrients for growing children.

We recently had the chance to try out some of these great meals. We received a little pack of goodies along with coupons for 4 meals.

Kidfresh Goodies

The Kidfresh meals are available at certain Publix stores in Florida and Georgia (along with many other leading retailers), and our local Publix had a great selection. (Visit Kidfresh's store locator to find Kidfresh meals in your neighborhood.) We chose the Spaghetti Loops Bolognese and the Rainbow Rice and Chicken for Rylie and Bryce to try.

The nutrition content immediately attracted me to these meals. I love the fact that they are packed with nutritious veggies, and that they do not contain any artificial ingredients. This is one convenience food that I feel good about giving to my children! And speaking of convenience, I love how easy they are to prepare! I had Rylie and Bryce pick out which Kidfresh meal they wanted to try first, put on my chef's apron, and 5 minutes later, they had a nutritious dinner.

I'm a Kidfresh Mom!

So what did the kids think? Well, Bryce gobbled his Spaghetti Loops down, and Rylie was smiling while she was eating vegetables, so I would say the Kidfresh meals are winners with them!

A few nights later we tried the Rainbow Rice and Chicken, and that one went over just as well. Bryce didn't end up eating all of his, so I finished it off for him. It was delicious! I would honestly buy that one for myself.
