Tommee Tippee has recently launched a new website to help parents save their memories about the day their child was born. I don't know about you all, but I didn't do so well with the whole baby book thing. I started Rylie's and kept up with it until she was about 10 months old, but I never even opened Bryce's. I would have loved to have access to a website such as this when my kids were born! I would have been able to preserve those memories with a click of a few buttons.
The Day Baby Was Born is a free service provided by Tommee Tippee that automatically gathers information about the day your child was born, based on your selections, to create a storybook that you can share with family and friends. Welcoming a child into the world is an amazing journey, and so much happens so quickly it can be hard to remember every detail. This site is a simple way to capture and cherish your memories. Start as soon as you know you're pregnant and catch every detail of the journey.
The Day Baby Was Born is the coolest site! It is so easy to use, too. It automatically captures information from sites you select, including your Facebook feed! If you are a Facebook nut like me, you love seeing comments on your status updates. Wouldn't it be cool to save the comments you received when you announced your pregnancy on Facebook? Well now you can!
The Day Baby Was Born captures memories throughout your pregnancy and on the day your child is born. While you are pregnant you can upload pictures of your ultrasounds, and journal important milestones of your pregnancy. Once your baby is born, the application automatically pulls news and other important facts from that important day.
The Day Baby Was Born allows you to create personalized pregnancy and birth announcements for Facebook, and a storybook you can share online or save for years of storytelling. Head over to www.thedaybabywasborn.com to learn more and see a sample storybook.
If you are pregnant, or just recently had a baby, I encourage you to check out this free service. This is such a great way to preserve memories from your pregnancy and The Day Baby Was Born!

Tons of pictures and I brought their baby book to the hospital and filled it out as the day went
I am thankful that my husband filmed the delivery of our daughter... because i was too drugged on the IV meds to remember any of it!
My daughter was born early and stayed in the NICU for six weeks. I kept a journal, of all the progress she was making, and my feelings that day-I also had the NICU nurses help me use her footprints as a sort of cover for the journal, along with some photos of her.
lots of pictures
i am going to have a scrapbook, and write down everything!! every milestone will be written down

I am a mom of 6 with my youngest being 12. I have always taken lots of pictures and now am scanning and converting to files on hard drive. So nice but takes FOREVER! I wish I had journals for my kids. I always loved to write but never kept anything. I have two daughters due, one soon and one this winter. I hope to help make sure they video and journal, plus scrapbook and keep up MUCH better with their baby books than I did.
thanks!

WE DOCUMENTED NY BABY BOY'S BIRTH BY TAKING LOTS OF PICTURES :)
shebebes@yahoo.com
I have a big pink "It's a Girl" hat box with all my daughter's firsts.... her first outfit, the hospital bracelets, etc. to remember that beautiful joyous day! I also ordered the USA Today newspaper for the day she was born
We started the moment both our daughters were born by videotaping the birth. We are big into photography and we take at least one picture a week (if not 50 pictures). We have managed to create quite a flipbook of pictures of our little ones. It is truly amazing how fast children grow.
I have a picture a day of Baby Alice. I love to create Mixbook photobooks to celebrate each month.

I have taken tons of pictures and videos. I am also working on a scrapbook starting from when I found out I was pregnant.
I tried to keep up with an actual Baby Book. Unfortunately it didn't work out so well. I'd love to use The Day Baby Was Born for the next one.
I am planning on photographing, videotaping, and saving EVERYTHING and putting it in books and a beautiful chest.
I plan on asking someone to videotape the birth and I want to save clippings of papers that day.
I plan to have a friend tape the birth and I will be scrapbooking throughout their life!
