I once had a friend who always said "I don't sweat, I glisten." Well lucky her. That isn't my case, though. Fact of the matter is, I sweat. Like a pig. (Do pigs really sweat? I have never quite understood that line.)
I am a very outgoing person, but when I am mad or upset about something, I don't do well in "talking it out". I am very emotional, so I end up crying and acting like a fool.That gets me into quite a sticky situation where my pits are concerned. I don't know if it is because I just hate confrontations like that, or if it is because I know I am going to cry, but in these situations, I usually sweat. I'm not talking about a little "glistening" like my friend supposedly did, but by the end of the discussion, my shirt can be quite wet.
I don't just sweat when I'm upset, though. I live in
Whether stressed, scared, bothered or nervous, armpits let you know and yet they have been largely overlooked, until now… Mitchum is encouraging you to “Love Thy Pits” with the new Advanced Control stick/solid antiperspirant and deodorant, providing 48 hours of protection for men and women. Formulated to go on and stay dry, Mitchum Advanced Control combines the highest level of active ingredient available in the marketplace with encapsulated fragrance technology that bursts upon contact with perspiration, helping pits navigate even the trickiest of situations with maximum strength and ultimate protection for 48 hours.
Now, I haven't gone 48 hours without applying fresh deodorant, so I can't tell you that I know it lasts THAT long, but it definitely lasts all day! My favorite feature of the Mitchum Advanced Control Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant is that it is invisible. Some deodorants advertise that they are invisible, but you still end up with a white mess on your clothes. This one really was clear and didn't leave any kind of white residue on my clothes. It is a solid, so it goes on easily and isn't sticky like the clear gel deodorants.
The only thing I don't love about the Advanced Control is the scent. I received the "Powder Fresh" scent to try, and it is just a little too strong for me. I could literally smell it all day today, and my shirt had sleeves. I will definitely be trying the "Pure Fresh" scent to see if I like that any better, because I do like the deodorant over all.
Mitchum Advanced Control Features:
- Provides maximum wetness and odor protection for up to 48 hours with Fresh DefenseTM technology;
- Releases long lasting fragrance using encapsulated fragrance technology – fragrance bursts upon contact with perspiration ensuring Mitchum Advanced Control works when you need it most;
- Contains maximum, allowable level of active (20% aluminum zirconium) – the same as many clinical strength products – without the higher price;
- Goes on clear;
- Dermatologist-tested;
- With aloe and vitamin E to soothe and condition skin.
The new Mitchum Advanced Control Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant has worked very well for me so far, even on these HOT days we have been having this summer. I am depending on it to work the next time I get into a "sticky situation"!
Mitchum Advanced Control is enhanced with a variety of sophisticated fragrance offerings and available in two scents for women: Pure Fresh, a floral fragrance with hints of cucumber, water fruits and fresh greens and Powder Fresh, a floriental powder with notes of sugared orange, grapefruit blossom and tender peony.
Mitchum is also made for the guys too! It is available in three scents for men: Arctic Rush, a fougere woody fragrance with green tangerine, bergamot and watermint, Pure Action, a woody aromatic with pineapple, jasmine and leather and Clean Control, a fougere aqueous with touches of lemon lime, lavender and patchouli.
Mitchum Advanced Control is available at drugstores and mass-market retailers nationwide for the suggested price of $3.99.
Speaking of sticky situations, I think this is definitely one that requires the new Mitchum Advanced Control...
I don't run to soccer games and recitals just yet, but my days are still crazy busy! I think all moms can relate. Let's hope I never pick up the wrong kid! I can imagine that situation would be about as sticky as they get.
~*~One of my readers is going to win a stick of Mitchum Advanced Control and a $75 SpaFinder Gift Card!~*~
Disclosure: This is my honest opinion. I received the Mitchum Advanced Control Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant at no cost for the purpose of this review, along with a SpaFinder Gift Card. No other compensation was received. A big Thank You to the sponsor and/or representing PR company for providing the giveaway prize!

Just like you, I live in hot as hell -- I mean sunny Florida - so the more appropriate question would be when DON'T I sweat? The answer to that is the 2 or 3 days a year when it isn't hot & humid here! LOL!
