It has been 16 weeks since I joined the Nutrisystem Nation, and I am delighted with the results that I have achieved! I lost a total of over 14 pounds and I am now back to a weight that I never thought I would see again. I feel so much better about myself these days! Of course the comments I have been getting from my friends definitely help my self esteem. Every time I meet up with a friend that I haven't seen in a while, the first words out of their mouth are usually something like "WOW! You look amazing!" I can't tell you how great that feels.
I am going to start this week's post off with my weekly weigh in. When I first joined the Nutrisystem Nation, I set my goal at 130 pounds. I knew that was a stretch, but I decided to "aim high". Well, in this case, I guess it is more like "aim low". I am ending my time on this great program at 134 pounds, and even though I didn't meet my goal, I am smaller than I have been in at least 15 years, so I'm happy with where I am.

If you have weight to lose and have had a hard time losing it, I highly recommend that you give Nutrisystem a try. This was the PERFECT diet program for me. Just like everything else, though, it will work for some and it won't work for others. I do feel, however, that if you really put your all into this program that it WILL work for you.
Part of the reason that this program is so easy to follow is that the food is GOOD. It is REAL food, that tastes like REAL food. I have given you examples of my meals over the past fifteen weeks, and today I'm going to tell you what my absolute favorites were - Scrambled Eggs with Vegetables for breakfast, Red Beans & Rice with Chicken Sausage for lunch, Italian Herb Flatbread Pizza for dinner, and Peppermint Cookie Patty for dessert.
I have had a few friends join Nutrisystem after they saw how well I was doing on it. Some succeeded and some didn't. My best friend and her husband joined, and even though she lost 20 pounds in just two months, her husband didn't care for the program. When she called to cancel his enrollment, she was not given any hassle. The representative simply asked her why, and that was it. So if you feel like you want to give it a try, but are apprehensive about committing to it, just know that it is easy to cancel if you decide you do not like it. Like I said, though, if you really give this program a chance, I think you will like it.
Thank you all for following along with me on my Nutrisystem journey! Your support meant a lot to me! Even though I am "officially" done with my blogging requirements for this program, I have a couple weeks of food left, so I am still going to continue until it is gone. After that, I plan to apply what I have learned about portion control and eating the RIGHT foods to regular food and hope I can maintain where I am at right now. I will definitely post updates, and you all will hear me shouting from the rooftops if I do ever meet that goal of 130 pounds!
