Of course we couldn't go and just eat pizza, we had to play first. I really like the games and rides at Chuck E. Cheese's because everything is one token. Some of the Chuck E. Cheese's that we have been to have a small area especially for toddlers, but this particular location did not. I think Bryce would have really enjoyed that. Instead, he had fun playing some of the smaller games and crawling around in the big play structure with Rylie. Rylie really enjoys the rides, especially the one where you sit next to Chuck E. and it takes your picture.
Once the kids worked up an appetite, we sat down to try out the new pizza.
We started from scratch to bring you our all-new, cheesier, crispier pizza. Made with fresh, never frozen dough, 100% real Mozzarella cheese, zesty pizza sauce, and a variety of quality toppings, it’s a pizza the whole family will love! Along with our garden fresh salad bar and oven toasted sandwiches, we have the perfect recipe to satisfy your appetite for food and fun!
Rylie and I really like the Mozzarella Sticks, so we got some of those too!
The kids were hungry and got right to eating. Bryce was being silly and kept saying the pizza was hot, so I had to hold it for him for a little while.
So what did we think of the new pizza?
I have to admit, I liked the old pizza better. The new pizza tasted good, but there was something even better about the old pizza. That said, the new recipe seemed less greasy, which is definitely healthier. Knowing that the ingredients are fresh made me feel good about feeding this pizza to my family for lunch. The kids seemed to like the pizza just fine, and Rylie even gave it a thumbs up!
Of course after we ate, we had to play a little more. Bryce was having a great time with this bowling game that was near our table. He had a hard time pushing the ball all the way up the alley, so his games seemed to last forever. He didn't care, he was having fun, and Rylie and I were having fun watching him!
Rylie's favorite ride was the Jett Rider. It is a simulated roller coaster ride that makes you feel like you are really on a roller coaster.
Unfortunately, Bryce didn't feel the same way about it.
During the course of our visit to Chuck E. Cheese's, Rylie managed to get some tickets. Once she fed them to the ticket machine to count them, she got a few prizes and even got one for her brother!
We had a great day and a good lunch at Chuck E. Cheese's! We still have some tokens left over, so we will definitely be going back soon!
