I Like Mine Tall, Dark And Strong

Something along these lines, perhaps...

Coffee Cup

Only bigger. Much bigger.

Come on! What did you think I was talking about?

I have been a coffee lover since my college years. I won't tell you exactly how long that has been, but let's just say it has been a while. Since I started blogging, though, it has become quite an addiction. I start my day with a cup while I get myself and the kids ready for work and school, then I drink another cup on my way to work. I usually have a cup during that 2:00 slump when I just can't keep my eyes open any longer. Then there are my usual late nights blogging, which are probably responsible for my 2:00 slump, when I will have another cup to keep my face off my keyboard.

I consider myself a coffee connoisseur and I prefer to buy gourmet coffee, but I will also drink certain store brands. I like a bold coffee, the stronger the better. I enjoy the taste of coffee, so I don't typically add a lot of sweetener to it. I add just a little bit of sugar to counteract the bitterness, and a splash of cream. I do like dessert coffee on occasion and will use the flavored creamers then.

Coffee Beans

Some say that grinding your coffee beans immediately before brewing the coffee makes it taste better, but I used to do that, and honestly I can't tell the difference. In the mornings, we brew our coffee in a regular drip-style coffee maker. In the evenings when I just want one cup, I use my single-serve coffee maker. I have always wanted to experiment with different styles of brewing coffee such as a French press or a Coffee Dripper like the Hario V60.

So what's your pleasure? Tall, Dark and Strong? Sweet and Creamy? Or somewhere in between? I'll be right back to see your answers, as soon as I pour myself another cup...

I have a hard time choking down a cup of coffee...I guess my body just isn't a fan of the stuff. I think, though, that it all stems from my childhood and the fact that I used to have to make my dad's coffee. All. The. Time! I can barely look at it now...so I stick with water :)

Light and sweet - carmel flavored helps too!

I just started drinking coffee, mostly it's a little coffee with a lot of cream. There is just something so comforting about drinking coffee and reading blogs :)

Tall, heavy on the creamer, lightly roasted. :)
