Doodle In The Dark With Glow Crazy {Review & Giveaway}

Everyone loves stuff that glows in the dark! From kids to adults, there is something about an item that glows in the dark that captivates us all. Glow Crazy gives your child the ability to draw and write with light...in the dark!

We were recently given the opportunity to review two Glow Crazy products, and we have been having a great time with both of them! We received the Glow Crazy Distance Doodler and the Glow Crazy Glow To Go.

The Glow Crazy Distance Doodler allows you to doodle on your wall with light, from over 10 feet away! The set comes with 1 Dual Action Magic Light Wand, 2 Large Reusable Wall Canvas Clings, 4 Stencils and an Instruction Booklet.

You simply peel the backing off of the canvas, stick it to the wall, turn the lights off, and start doodling! Kids can use their imaginations to draw, use stencils, make silhouettes, or even play games like tic-tac-toe.

Rylie had a great time doodling, so we turned the camera on night mode and snapped a couple of pictures. The first was of her "artwork" and then this second is when she asked me to write her name.

We have really had a lot of fun doodling on the wall before bed time! You can leave the canvases in the large strips like they come, or even cut them into shapes and put them around your child's room.

All in all, this is a fun product and we really like it. The canvas stuck to the wall perfectly while we were using it, but then a few hours later it came down, so I would recommend taking it down when you are done using it. The only thing I really don't like about it is that you have to hold the button down on the light wand while you use it. The wand is thick at the end, so it was awkward for Rylie's little hand to try to hold the button down while she doodled. The Distance Doodler is recommended for kids ages 6 and up, so it may be easier for older kids to use.

We haven't been in the car at night since we received the Glow To Go, so we took it in to the darkest room in the house to try it out, which is one of our upstairs bathrooms. We turned the lights out and Rylie got to doodling.

That first picture was actually taken in the dark. Pretty cool, huh?

Rylie had a great time with the Glow To Go! She especially enjoyed coloring in the stencils and then removing them to see the drawing she made. This is perfect for her since everything is stored right in the case and she can take it everywhere with her.

Again, the only issue we had was it was the fact that she had to hold that button down when doodling. This particular product is suggested for ages 3 and up, and again, it was awkward for her little hand to hold that down and doodle. Other than that, she loves it!
