Tell Us Something Good: Cool Playdate {Linky}

The Life of Rylie...and Bryce too!

Welcome to Tell Us Something Good! I'm so glad you're here. Every Tuesday, my friend Andrea from Angelica's Awesome Adventures and I will be sharing something good with you. We hope that you will share something good with us too. So grab the button at the top, tell us something good on your blog, and link up your post at the linky on the bottom.

It has been so hot here in Central Florida this summer! When we walk outside, we immediately start sweating. This past weekend was no exception. As my dad would always say "It's a scorcher!" when referring to how hot it was outside. The biggest issue with this summer heat is finding things to do with the kids that don't involve being outside.

Thank goodness for cool play places like Amaya Papaya! Amaya Papaya is an indoor play area "where kids play and parents lounge". What I really like about Amaya Papaya is that, unlike the bounce house places, you don't have to chase your kids around the whole time. It is filled with toys, big and small, and it is set up to where the parents can sit in one place and be able to see our kids the whole time. There is a playhouse, a mini trampoline, some ride on toys, a sandbox, and even a little corner designated for the little ones who aren't old enough to run around. There is a little grocery section with play groceries and shopping carts, a dress up section with dress up clothes, and a train table. The best part about it? It is air conditioned!

We met up at Amaya Papaya with some friends this past Sunday. When we first arrived there was no one there but us, and one of my good friends with her baby, and another one of her friends with her baby. While the babies stayed in the little corner section, Rylie and Bryce had full run of the place. They cleared off the shelves in the "grocery store" and had fun pushing the carts around. Just as Rylie discovered the dress up section and put on a little cheerleader dress, her best friend Angelica arrived. Angelica put on a little dress and then they got back to grocery shopping.

After they shopped for a while, the kids sat down to have a little snack. Amaya Papaya has a snack bar where you can purchase snacks and drinks, or you can bring in your own food.

After snack time, Angelica and Rylie traded dresses, and got back to doing what they do best...running around like crazy!

Bryce didn't quite know what to think of those two.

I was hoping they wouldn't pay attention to the sandbox, but of course they did. Luckily, there is a little brush to brush off those little sandy hands and feet!

Awwwww...best friends!

The kids had a great time and were exhausted when we left. So exhausted that they weren't even able to stay awake for the fireworks show we went to afterwards.

If you're in Central Florida, I highly recommend Amaya Papaya for a "cool" playdate! You can check their website for open play times. They also put on special events and birthday parties.

OK, now it's your turn. Tell us something good...

*Please note: This linky is only for those participating in Tell Us Something Good. You are welcome to link up a recent post about something good in your life, we just ask that you include the Tell Us Something Good badge somewhere in your post. We hate to have "rules", but we want to be fair to those that are participating. Thank you for understanding.*

They sure did have a good time, didn't they? :) SO glad we were able to meet up for a playdate without the sun and heat...especially since there was plenty of that to be had on the 4th!

Sounds like a perfect place to take your children. Love the idea!

Man, it's posts like this that make me really hate living in the sticks! I'd KILL for a place like this!!

It looks like they had such a good time! Love them in their dresses playing away!!

Wow...we need a place like that around here. No matter we go, I am constantly chasing Anthony. I never get to just 'chat' with the other mom's since I am always running...LOL! Looks like the kids had a great time. I love that the girls are girly girls and that they go right for the costumes!

This looks like so much fun! If I had money to spare I would open one of these in my town. We have nothing like this!
