Nutrisystem Weekly Weigh In: Week 10

Nutrisystem

Ugh. That's all I have to say for myself this week. I am kicking myself right now. My post is not good news this week. I gained weight since last week, and not just a little bit, either. I have no excuse. Last week I said that I feel like I can cheat a little here and there because I do so well during the week. Well I guess in my mind I thought I could stuff my face for a few days and that was considered "cheating here and there."

Let's see...last weekend's festivities had me cheating pretty much all weekend. Then there was employee appreciation day at work where they passed out cookies. Friday night I went out with the girls and pigged out on the most awesome food I have eaten in a while. Saturday we had a picnic at the park where I ate PB&J and chips, and then had friends over for dinner and I continued to cheat and end it all with a couple of cupcakes. I was good today for breakfast and lunch, but then stuffed my face again when we went out for dinner. I did put half of my dinner in a box before we started eating, but that doesn't really help when I started with a cup of corn chowder and finished it up with a brownie dessert.

Wow. After typing all of that, I'm surprised I am only up two pounds. So anyway, I am just going to tell you about some of my favorite Nutrisystem foods that I had last week, hang my head in shame while I tell you my weekly weigh in, and then forget this post ever happened. Okay? Thanks.

I'm really beyond mad at myself for cheating so much this week. There is no reason to do so. The Nutrisystem food is excellent, and I do really like it. I never feel like I go without. So what were my favorites this week? I enjoyed the Blueberry Muffin for breakfast, Three Cheese Pasta with Chicken for lunch, Penne Pasta & Chicken in Alfredo Sauce for dinner, and Coconut Almond Bar for dessert. If you have noticed, I have yet to duplicate a food in these posts. That is because there is so much variety on the Nutrisystem program!

Now for my weekly weigh in. The only good thing about this post is that I am still over 10 pounds down, so I don't have to send my NutriBear back. I am so irritated that I am even posting that I gained 2 pounds this past week, and I hope I don't ever have any more posts like this. I only have 6 more weeks to go with Nutrisystem, and I am determined to make every one of them count and meet my goal!

Ah, it happens to the best of us. You're human! Even though Nutrisystem food tastes great, sometimes having not-so-healthy choices right in front of us (mmmmm, brownie dessert) are hard to resist even for weight loss mavens such as yourself. I have no doubt that you'll have lost those two pounds (plus more) in a snap!

But you are still over 10 lbs lost! You'll get back on track, I know you :)
