I am so excited for the Hell's Kitchen Season 9 Premiere tonight! I love to watch Chef Gordon Ramsay tear into the 18 aspiring restaurateurs that each season starts out with. They compete in nightly challenges to find the best of the best to run some awesome restaurants around the world. Some of the chefs are experienced executive chefs, but you wouldn't know it by the way he belittles them episode after episode. I always cheer for the underdogs just because I feel bad for them for the beatings they take. I end up glued to my seat with heart pounding anticipation to find out which chef he will take the jacket from each night.
This season sounds just as exciting as all of the previous seasons! The winner of Hell's Kitchen Season 9 will score a head chef position at BLT Steak in New York City. According to the Hell's Kitchen Official Site, some of the fantastic rewards the winning teams will get to enjoy are Indy-car racing, an expensive Las Vegas suite, a yacht excursion and more. More fun to watch, though, are the punishments the losing teams endure, like decorating for a high school reunion, taking deliveries off the delivery trucks, and making a children's playground for family night! There is even supposed to be a "mommy and me" meal that the chefs must prepare. I always enjoy watching the fine dining chefs prepare meals for picky kids!
If you need me this evening, I will be in front of my TV watching the first episode of what looks to be another nail-biting season of Hell's Kitchen! The season premiere starts tonight at 8/7c on Fox. Until then, check out the "first look" video.

I love me some Hell's Kitchen - I've been watching since Season 1. I also watch Ramsey's other shows - Masterchef, Restaurant Nightmares, etc.
