Cool Haircuts At Cool Cuts 4 Kids {Review & Giveaway}

Rylie was born with a full head of hair, and none of it ever fell out. I had to have a friend trim her hair a little around the back before she was even six months old! When we set out to get her first "real" haircut, I looked for a place that was kid friendly, and we ended up at Cool Cuts 4 Kids.

Both of our "first haircut" experiences were about the same. The kids sat down in the bright colored car chairs while the stylist turned on a movie to keep them entertained, and all was well. At least until she got started on the actual haircut.

Things sure have changed for Rylie since that first haircut. She is actually excited to hop up into one of the car chairs and watch a movie while she gets her hair cut!

This was probably the best visit we have had for Rylie. She wants to keep her hair long, so I didn't want much cut off, but it needed to be shaped up a little bit. The stylist really listened to what I wanted. She also made some great suggestions. The end result made Rylie's hair look healthier!

Bryce is still a little apprehensive about climbing up in that chair. Unlike the last few times, this time the stylist started out with the clippers. She said that because of how fine his hair is, it is easier to cut it that way first. He didn't like that one bit. Once she turned the clippers off, though, the tears stopped. Of course a lollipop always makes things better. You can see in the first picture how his hair was getting a little long around his ears and in the back, and she did a great job trimming that up.

Lollipops are always given to your child after their haircut, or during, if needed. With your permission, of course.

Another great feature of Cool Cuts 4 Kids is their waiting area. It has a TV with a DVD player, a Lego table, and a train table. When we got there we didn't have to wait, so I let the kids play for a few minutes when we were done.
