...by Friday afternoon his eye looked so much better, and it was totally gone by Saturday morning so he could enjoy the weekend.
Well, apparently our super fun weekend was a little too much for Bryce. Either that, or something else invaded him over the weekend. I got a call from daycare yesterday that he had a fever, and by the time he went to bed last night it was 103. Other than the fever, he was acting fine.
He didn't sleep much last night and kept the rest of us up, but hasn't had a fever at all today, thank goodness! He did, however, cough so much that he threw up (TWICE!) so we are headed to the pediatrician in about an hour. He is very congested and seems to be wheezing. I'm sure that she will tell us it is just a virus that has to run it's course, but given recent events, I am a little paranoid about respiratory issues.
In the meantime, Bolt has been on repeat in the DVD player this morning and Bryce is pretty much just laying around. I'm desperately trying to get some laundry done, but in between cleaning up puke and bathing the kid, there hasn't been time for much else.
The sickies seem to be going around here right now...I hope you all are well!

Such a bummer! I hope its just one of those things that has to run its course. Cam has pink eye going around her classroom right now too...we'll see what happens with that one!

Oh, no! I hope it gets better soon! We've been fortunate enough that Sebastian has never been sick, and he's almost three! I have no idea how that has happened since I'm always hearing about how kids catch everything.
EEERGH!! i hate pink eye that is the worst biggest fear with my running and in home daycare!
So sorry to hear about the sickies! That is never fun! Hope Bryce gets better soon and that just some minor, random bug that will go away soon! We're potty training here and I'm not enjoying it at all! lol I've been trying to blog about it, but Blogger won't let me edit a blog draft that I started. Have you had any of the same problems??

I swear, that poor Bryce, my heart goes out to him :) But the awesome thing is that he is such a trooper. Seems as though he really doesn't let the sickies get him down. I hope he feels better so you can meet up with Carol...you are going to have an awesome time. Wish I was coming :)
